I dont think runed detonate will trigger Ophi's 3rd skill. Rafutela from NFS guild tried it with flame mage. The crreature doesnt actually die and get revived. It just stays there with 1 hp instead of 0.

Heal Amplify IV is awesome in healing decks, it was my first 4* hero rune. I'd love a Heal Amplify V though! i leveled up a 3* heal amplify to level 6. wish there was a way I could get my hands on your 4* if you get a 5*! I think they must be pretty rare. I've done the 1500 glory rune draws four times (twice on two accounts), along with around 10k glory draws each day and the 3* is the best I've got.

Just looked at Mikhal's and Naruto's tournament decks and they don't have a lvl5 rune either. Wonder how much it heals per level?

Can't confirm 100%, but there are a couple creatures on 13-8 that have the detonate rune lvl 10. After dying, they go to 0 HP, then stay in play with 1 HP. Neither of them have a skill upon death, so can't confirm, but the fact that they don't go to the graveyard then come back supports it doesn't work that way.

The thing with Flame Mage though, is that the skill triggers 'on entry'. Since technically it never leaves the field, the retrigger won't happen. But when an ability triggers 'on death', the death technically happens before the 1HP revive. So in theory, I think it should work.
Bone Mage should be a cheap and easy proof, if his skill activates with the rune then we have an answer.

Tried it with Wild Efreet and it works. It activated Detonate than [D]Pyre Bomb and then it regenerated 1HP

Already confirmed in previous threads that Detonate rune works in synergy with on-death skills. Undying Will with Detonate rune can Instakill multiple times in one round if Detonate rune procs. On play effects do not work again, due to the mechanic stated by Derpy. Detonate Ophi works. Detonate is also effective for Warlust creatures since 1 HP is 99.99% guaranteed Warlust proc.

i think some 3*, mostly healers and magic dealers can become quite useful if runed, like dream healer or magic weaver. With Sorcery, heal amplify and fire runes.

I am starting to think that the 4* Hero runes might be better than their 5* versions. Its cheaper to level up 4* Sorcery to level 4 than 5* Sorcery to level 3. Especially since hero runes are so much rarer than creature runes. Does anyone else feel the same way? Does this apply to ALL hero runes?

5* Runes are huge boosts.
I got a Haste one at Lv.4 (40%) and it's aa game changer since it procs often.
