Could someone help me with LV. 4 and LV.5. I know that Naruto posted a video on YouTube about how to beat LV.5, but I don't have cards like Judgement.
Could someone give me some advice how to beat those levels?
Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, without a Judgement and a bunch of Frost Armor and Immunity Oracles, this one is pretty tough to beat on the 5th difficulty. Personally, I don't do the Grimoire anymore, but I have heard from someone on this forum that a high level Predator works very well if you don't have a Judgement.

Level 4 is doable but requires some cards .. Hero with big Hero Vigor rune and good healing rune .. and put as much Oracles as you have, Mythril Drone and Dragonlord .. Naga Mistress is good also.. (you can probably go without Dragonlord .. but not sure if you can without Mythril Drone..)
basically -> drone+bless+healing .. and I auto win that each time.. you dont really need Judgement for 4*
like 4 Oracles, 2x Horned Beast, 2x Naga, 1x Drone, 1xDragonlord ..
Level 5 .. I didnt try that one yet .. I think I 'might' be able to do it (as I have 6 Oracle melds + some lvl0 Oracles).. but I dont feel like taking out runes from my Oceanus to Judgement each time .. If someone has good advice, I would appreciate it..

Even Naruto has to try several times for Level 5 to get the luck for the initial setup. In level 5 one enemy creature does 4000 damage each round, any none fa creature directly gets killed if hit by 4000 damage. Whereas for Level 4, the damage is only 2380. This is a huge difference between level 4 and level 5. Unless all your creatures have fa (including drone), there is always chance that in the first turn you drop 5 creatures, one of them gets killed, and that is the end of the battle... I could only say that beating level 4 is good enough.

Its maybe due to group tactics, lightfoot.. although that oceanus has healing rune +108HP and All Vigor +375HP .. But I tried Judgement today on 4* with similar setup and it also worked on auto (and he doesnt nearly have that good runes) .. 4* and 5* is huge difference .. and mainly on 5* you need to last much longer ..

I do think that when you have a judgment, it's beatable, but i'd drop the drone in that case get a lot of hp buffs and let the rage bar fill each turn. I'll try it when my judgment is level 5 and I got a 4-star protean.

Lately it has got worse then ever- it seems the chainstrike guy turns up in the first 5 cards almost every time. With them getting battleblow every round too it is not long before he is knocking people out and then it is all over.
Oh, and this is only in the 4 star grimory too, it's almost not worth wasting energy on the protean at all now they have made it so hard

The effect of souleater increases with more enemy (your) creatures on the board.

Now, it correctly(I guess) does hero damage equal to 1000 + 50 times the amount of cards you have on the field. So instead of each card dealing 1050 damage if you have 10 cards on the field, each card does 1500 hero damage each turn. At 10 cards, this means you now automatically lose 6k hp per turn instead of 1500 before, which doesn't even include the amount of hp you'll lose before you get to 10 cards. I'll have to try to get a run with all cards alive next protean grimoire to check the math, but a lvl 6 or 7 hero vigor will never be able to be able to beat it now due to just being mathematically impossible. I'm not even sure if a lvl 8 hero vigor can beat it, especially if you don't have freezing dance. You absolutely shouldn't be required to have a lvl 9 or 10 hero rune just to complete a grimoire since the other two barely require anything, so they messed up something there.

With that, best case you have 10x bless creatures and you still receive 5k dmg a round. I totally agree about this grimoire being un-balanced. Or perhaps it's the only one properly balanced, as a 5* shard should require top tier cards

Or perhaps it's the only one properly balanced, as a 5* shard should require top tier cards 6k since you'll need a Mith drone, thus having 9 bless cards, but yea I would say unbalanced as opposed to balanced. Not even counting the hero vigor rune, you preferably still need at least a mid level human vigor, all vigor, 5* vit runes on pretty much all your cards and a judgement of course. That should be enough of a requirement instead of a level 9 or 10 hero rune.

I got to round 30 while having all creatures alive with a level 7 5* hero vigor. So you'd probably need at least a level 9 hero vigor to beat it somewhat consistently.

It's just another ego trip by the developers - I often get the impression they are trying to beat down players at every opportunity and take offence at any attempts to overcome their defences.
I guess they reason that it will make people spend more money out of frustration but far more likely people will just give up and go play a game without such babies making up the rules to suit themselves so they always win.

Alright, so I guess it is possible to beat it now with a level 7 hero vigor rune, but you need freezing dance and pretty much everything to go right(no cards dying, hero hunter card must not hit more than its initial turn), which is a lot harder than it looks. It took me about an hour and a half today to beat it twice. Without FD, you will pretty much need a lvl 8+ hero vigor and even then it will probably take a while. I still don't agree with the requirements to beat this since very few beat it before and it was much easier before the update.

The DL and HB had some mid level 4* vit runes and the human cards all had a level 7 5* vit rune(the RD with a lvl 8 vit). My judge had lvl 7 5* hero Vigor, lvl 6 5* all vigor, lvl 5 5* faen and human vigors, and lvl 3 4* heal amp.

Someone probably just noticed a difference between what was written and what was happening and changed it to match.
