Go take Oinari, you will benefit more with her in your neander deck then with Mythril Drone.Drone is good card but in you case go for Oinari.

Only take drone if doing high damage in guild maps is a priority imo. It can give you 200k-1mil in maps you would otherwise fail. But it also requires other good melds, mostly fa oracles.

I'm getting close as well and have been debating this. My Guild (Boxing Kangaroo!!) doesn't need me to do high dmg, but since the Mantra update I'm doing under 100k dmg. So I was focused on getting Mythril Drone to get my gold up to a more consistent lvl again. As I get closer to pulling the trigger with my ore, I am second guessing it.
Therefore, would it be better to get the buffed up Oinari (now with Rebirth 10) to improve my Neander Tournament deck instead? I don't have the Sisters and only 2 recyclers for my 3 decks (Wight&Rebirthers / Predator&HBRecycle / Berserker&Thalassa).
Is Oinari a good replacement for a recycler in a deck?

I've regretted my oinari, cause her 6 timer really hurts her usefulness imo. Too easy to dispose, and she only gets one crit back each time played,so she's real slow working all the way around. She really should be used in conjunction with a recycler to keep each other on the board. That being said, I have 3 recyclers and a mystic so I'm not struggling to bring crits back in my decks. I also don't have a great neander setup. It sounds to me like you should go with oinari. There are cheaper ways to boost your guild map damage (even if they take some time). You may consider just holding out for a 5* hero also.

Yeah, I've thought about just waiting for a 5* hero. The dilemma that I am thinking about is that the 5*'s only become very good when they are leveled up to 5+. As f2p (no star), this will be a very long time down the road.
I've also heard other comments that some of these 5* heroes are only good with a very good deck (throwing Lvl 1 Spirit Arbiter with okay 4* cards isn't going to win).
The last thing I've heard is that the 5* Heroes in Tournament are now better (after Oceanus nerf) than the ones in the Ore Mall. That makes me wonder if Oinari or Mythril would give me the push to stay ranked (I can win some defenses and stay ranked for a little bit, but always fall out eventually) and thus I could get to those 5* Heroes sooner?
That is a very good point about Guild Maps and I do a decent amount of dmg with my Spiky Bits (Berserker) deck against the caster stages anyway, so maybe shutting down the magic shouldn't be my main concern right now. I guess I was also looking at him as a strong card to build a Human deck around, but that can wait.
PS. sorry to the OP for taking over your thread.

If you go with the tournament route you are going Captivator, Warlock, Judgement, Overlord. Probably in that order power wise. It takes a really long time to accumulate enough credits and have the shards available to buy. So factor that in if you are wanting to go that route and are struggling to stay ranked and so earn credits(or whatever those are called in tournament). I think Captivator is easily the best 5* at low levels because you get a guaranteed lockdown turn every time she procs. Oceanus has the huge upside of being able to copy crits that you can't get yet and evening the playing field. This can be huge in exploration and trials as well.

The ore mall (gem = money) heroes are generally better than the tournament heroes with the exception of captivator imo. i mean, they have more potential to be competitive with unique skills (liquidity ,melt armor, clones, reanimates) while tournament ones are more defensive,no summoner this category has. Oceanus is still powerful once it is levelled up to 5.
