Could someone elaborate what skill potency works on(preferably not backed up by assumptions)? Magic damage is fairly obvious, but what about healing, attack increase from battleblow, poison skills etc? Short answer is: no one f*cking knows IGG has literally left us all to just figure this stuff out on our own. So I don't think that anyone actually has a full understanding of what all Skill potency effects yet.

Short answer is: no one f*cking knows IGG has literally left us all to just figure this stuff out on our own. So I don't think that anyone actually has a full understanding of what all Skill potency effects yet. Well, fair enough, but I assume that for people who have this type of equipment it shouldn't be that difficult to figure it out? I mean answering if it affects healing will take you just a minute and same goes for a lot of other skills. Now stuff like the Chirpotera skill will be harder to figure out. Now here's another question - at what point is spending gems on equipment worth it? For instance I burned close to 10k and I got ok stuff(with a bunch of orangle materials still available), but I don't have a single reviver or OP stuff like Paragon, Aquarius, Taurus and similar stuff. Makes me wonder if investing gems in boosters would be better?

Important to note, skill resist does the opposite. It lowers your opponents dmg skills. If you skill resist is higher than their potency, they will do less than normal damage.

So, this should work like this?
1) Farm lv.1 materials 2) Craft equipment lv.1 -> lv.4 (lv.5?) with lv.1 materials 3) Farm high lvl materials 4) Craft equipment lv. 5 with high lvl materials

am working towards all orange material buy still far.... but a question for better understanding... I noticed there is a optional requisite to put an already made equipment to craft a level 5 orange equipment.... does the level/skill attributes of the already crafted equip matters?

The level does matter lvl1 gives you ~32% lvl5 ~46%. The skills and attributes on the material doesn't matter. It can have the worst percentages from the given quality it still gives the same bonus.

Do I need to use a purple/gold lvl4 equipment along with orange materials just to be able to get a higher chance of getting a purple/gold(orange) lv5 equipment? As F2P it would take a hell lot of time to make a purple/gold lvl4 equipment and then a purple/gold lvl5 equipment. Probably years. I have a lvl 2 gold belt and that seems to add nicely to the lvl success chances for a lvl 5 item. Need someone to clarify though if any difference between sacrificing lvl 1 compared to lvl 4. It would be logical that a higher lvl orange item sacrificed would give better odds of crafting an orange lvl 5 item.

Just to clarify.
OP talks about his SWORD when talking about these skill potency, but sword is critical mod. Does he really mean belt/gloves? Or us it critical from sword that is modifying his skill damages?

Just to clarify. OP talks about his SWORD when talking about these skill potency, but sword is critical mod. Does he really mean belt/gloves? Or us it critical from sword that is modifying his skill damages? Theres a few things going on here. 1: I (evolved303) have crafted a bunch of equipment and am helping share information to the guide. The guide is about item crafting. Items can give buffs, and, very very rarely, they can also have their own skills that can be cast. 2: The video shows the effect equipment. The main noticible thing is the numeric effect of skill potency...... however...... 3: I have a sword with a granted skill. Not a buff / attribute modifier, like and actual skill that is cast. As far as I know I am the only person with an item that does this. 4: The video shows the skill being cast. This is off of my sword. This is why i mentioned the sword in the vid. All of the above are true. Sorry if its a bit confusing.

Okay, so the example of voodoo breaking the damage cap, is that a mod from skill potency, ie the belt/gloves? Or is that from your sword's bonus skill?

All the creatures have Dodge, Battleblow, Bulleye, with increased ATK, and reduced DMG. You can still play the game for free. But if you want to be competitive you must spend Gems. You can either pay for the Gems or save for Alice Bonds. Everyone who pay they can enjoy the new system in advance it is understandable. For those who enjoy the game for free, it can see any reason for complain. That is my point of view.

Equipment is doable as f2p with alice bond. If you refrain from spending for ~3 bonds you should be all set.

Greetings evolved, Rankax here Wanted also to share some of my knowledge. Tested a bit with vodoo and skill potency and it looks pretty obvious, that the more enemy creatures are out, the more dmg you make and this seems to be exponential, whic is pretty insane in my opinion, but it is how it is. Here is the formula. it is pretty exact. (for my test results at least) Formula: f(x) = skilldmg = basedmg * (1+skill_potency)^x basedmg - for instance vodoo without skill potency applied or any creatures on enemy side x- number of enemy creatures skill_potency - for 20% skill potency it is 0.2 I am pretty sure that this has also something to do with the dmg you receive from protean grimoire, because the more creatures I had out, the less dmg I got. So with high skill resistance it is very possible to do prot 5 grimoire For instance (my test data with Vodoo):- basedmg - 734 - x - [4,5,6,7,8] - skill_potency - 0.21 (21%) - f(x) = 734 * (1+0.21)^x x | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | Test | 1574 | 1905 | 2305 | 2790 | 3376 | f(x) | 1573 | 1903 | 2304 | 2787 | 3373 |
Notice: Values are rounded a bit. That is why the result for formula is not exact. Feel free to test around with it and see if it works for you.

Based on the Headings of the thread.. I find no discription or advantages of using RESISTANCE equipment.. Is it useless if the opponent doesnt have their counter parts.. Is critical resist a TRASH if the oppenent doesnt use CRITICAL RATE..
