Today I would like to anaylse the types of damage in Deck Heroes, their PROS and CONS.
Based on different type of damage, you can design your deck.
There are several types of Damage in this game
-Basic Damage
-Magic Damage
-Direct Damage
-Poison Damage
-Lose HP
1. Basic Damage
- It is also called physical Damage. It is the basic damage type that you creatures hit opponent every turn.
- There are too many Decrease & Increase ATK skills, only mentioned the most notorious skills here.
Type of Enchantment Skill List
(A) Battleblow - 50% chance to increase ATK by 20-200% (20 x Rank) when attacking.
(B) Bloodrage - Reduces HP by 20-200 (20 x Rank) to increase ATK by 20-200 (20 x Rank) per round. (Very efficient for Mass Direct Damages creatures like Octavius, Soul Shrew, Sagittarius. Need money to buy Skill Essence for leveling up this skill)
(C) Bulleye - The opponent being attacked may not dodge, use Frost Armor, Tough Hide, or Dark Clone.
Comment: One of the Top Skill. Almost 100% for hitting opponent creatures except a few one.
(D) Danse Macabre - Basic attacks cannot target enemy Hero. Deals 20% of ATK to 5 enemy creatures, inflicting Bleed and reducing HP by 10% every round. Effects of Bleed can be stacked. (Kitsune)
Comment: Good when paired with hitting effect like Frost Blade 10
(E) Impale - Successful basic attacks on Creatures reduce their HP by 50% of starting Max HP. Reduces a similar amount after the next turn. This effect stacks and can't be resisted. Reduction capped at 2000. (Scorpio)
Comment: Not top skill as she need to hit opponent to have effect
(F) Sweeping Blow - Deals DMG to the targeted Creature and any adjacent Creatures.
Comment: One of the Top Skill
Type of Defensive List
(A) Block - Reduces DMG taken from physical ATK by 25-250 (25 x Rank).
(B) Dodge - Creature has 25% - 95% (20% + 5% x Rank) chance of being unharmed by physical attacks.
Comment: One of the Top Skill
(C) Frost Armour - Caps the amount of DMG a physical attack can deal at 200 - 110 (210 - 10 x Rank).

2. Magic Damage
- Benefits can do massive damage target all opponent creatures
- Nowaday as many middle to top players developed their deck with immunity as basic skill, magic damages become less efficient.
The worst is that when facing top players with immunity rune, every magic strike will deal opponent creatures.
- Enchanced by Sorcery Rune V - Increases magic DMG by 30 / lvl
- Countered by Immunity
- Caps the amount of DMG dealt by Maji Shield
- Only mentioned the most notorious skills here.
Type of Skill List
(A) Cloudburst - Deals 25-250 (25 x Rank) Magic DMG to 3 random enemy Creatures. Has 45% chance to inflict Paralysis, preventing an attack on their next turn.
(B) Frostbite - Deals 20 - 200 (20 x Rank) Magic DMG to 3 random enemy Creatures. Has 35% chance to inflict Freeze, causing enemies to skip their next action.
(C) Incinerate - Deals between 30 - 300 (30 x Rank) and 50 - 500 (50 x Rank) Magic DMG to 3 random enemy Creatures.
(D) Pyres - Deals between 30 - 450 (30 x Rank) and 50 - 750 (50 x Rank) Magic DMG to all enemy Creatures.
(E) Rain Dance - Deals Magic DMG to all enemy creatures equal to 20% of their Max HP, up to a maximum of 1000 DMG. Has 50% chance to inflict Drench. (Azure Dragon)
(F) Tempest - Deals 20 - 300 (20 x Rank) Magic DMG to all enemy Creatures and has a 30% chance to make them skip their next actions.
(G) Thor's Rage - Deals 25-250 (25 x Rank) Magic DMG to all enemy Creatures. Has 35% chance to inflict Paralysis, preventing a basic attack on their next turn.
3. Direct Damage
- The most efficient damage that directly deal to opponent creatures
- The most recommended type of damages that most of the Top Players will have.
- Enchanced by Snipe Rune V - Increases "ONLY" a**assinate & Picking Off DMG by 30 / lvl
Type of Skill List
(A) Assassinate - Deals 30-450 (30 x Rank) Direct DMG to the enemy Creature with the lowest HP.
(B) Picking Off - Deals 30-450 (30 x Rank) Direct DMG to the 2 enemy Creature with the lowest HP.
(C) Bombard - Creature cannot perform basic attack. Deals Direct DMG equal to 50% ATK to all enemy Creatures and Hero. (Octavius)
Comment: Top Skill, Massive unavoidable damages
(D) Concealed Strike - Deals 500 Direct DMG to a random enemy Creature, then deals twice that DMG to enemy Hero. Enemy Hero does not gain any Rage from DMG inflicted by this skill.
(E) Fervent - If your Creature is selected for an attack, a random enemy Creature takes Direct DMG equal to 25% of its ATK. Negative status effects do not prevent activation. (Capricorn)
Comment: Top Skill, better when Capricorn meld with Sacriface (Higher DMG and survivability) or Immunity (Survivability)
(F) Guilt - When attacked, enemy Creatures will recieve additional Direct DMG equal to 25% of their max HP. The damage sustained will not contribute to enemy Hero's Rage. (Killer Queen)
(G) Maelstrom - Deals additional Direct DMG equal to 50% when this Creature deals basic attack DMG to a Drenched enemy Creature. (Azure Dragon)
Comment: Not top skill as he need to hit opponent to have effect
(H) Omega Impact - Deals Direct DMG equal to own current HP and ATK. Damage dealt is shared equally among all enemy Creatures. This skill has a cooldown of 1 turn. (Taurus)
Comment: Top Skill, Massive unavoidable damages
(I) Plunder Vitality - Deals 100 Direct DMG to all enemy Creatures and restores HP of an equal amount. (Plague Doctor)
Comment: Top Skill, Massive unavoidable damages. Need money to buy Skill Essence for leveling up
(J) Reflect - Reduces Magic DMG recieved by 5% - 75% (5% x Rank) and returns 5% - 75% (5% x Rank) plus 30 - 450 (30 x Rank) Direct DMG back to attacker.
Comment: Reflect is dealing Direct DMG. Need opponent has magic ATK to be effect
(K) Retaliate - After taking physical DMG, deals 20 - 200 (20 x Rank) Direct DMG back to attacker and any adjacent Creatures.
Comment: Retaliate is dealing Direct DMG. Need opponent has successful ATK to be effect
(L) Soul Harvest - Deals 500 Direct DMG to enemy Creature across and inflicts a debuff for 1 turn(s). Affected Creature takes additional 250 DMG if their HP falls below 50% of Max HP. If the Creature is destroyed before the additional DMG is dealt, increase the initial ATK of all your Osiris Creatures by 30%. (Osiris)
(M) Stigma - Deals 500 Direct DMG to the enemy creature across from it. If this skill hits the same Creature next turn, triple the damage. (Belphegor)
(N) The Swarm - Deals basic DMG based on ATK to 3 random enemy Creatures. Restores HP equal to total DMG dealt. (Soul Shrew)
Comment: Top Skill, Massive unavoidable damages
(O) Vacuum Bomb - Deals 500 Direct DMG to enemy Creatures Directly across and adjacent to it.
(P) Twins Defense - Has a 30% chance of resisting a basic attack and reflecting Direct DMG equal to its own ATK.
(Q) Twins Terror - Has 50% chance of dealing Direct DMG equal to its own ATK after a basic attack.
(R) Arrow Split - Basic attacks have a 50% chance to deal Direct DMG equal to 100% of this creature's current ATK to 2 random enemy Creatures.
4. Poison Damage
- It is a type of direct damage
- Enchanced by Blight Rune V - Increases Direct DMG by 60 / lvl
- Countered by Immunity
Type of Skill List
(A) Gas Cloud - Reduces 3 random enemy Creatures' HP by 30 - 300 (30 x Rank), reducing similar amount after next turn.
(B) Toxicity - Reduces all enemy Creatures' HP by 30-300 (30 x Rank) and reduces the same amount after the next turn.
5. Lose HP
- Skill that make opponent creatures lose HP
- Countered by Immunity
Type of Skill List
(A) Blaze - Inflicts "Flaming" upon all enemy Creatures, causing them to lose 20-200 (20 x Rank) HP after their action.
(B) Flaming - Sets the attacker on fire when hit by physical attack. Attacker loses 25 - 250 (25 x Rank) HP after each action while on fire.
(C) Wraith Fire - Inflicts Burn on the enemy Creature across, causing it to lose 150 ATK and 300 HP and Max HP after each of its turns. This effects can be stacked and cannot be removed by Creature Skills. Effect ends whe Anubis is destroyed or no longer in play. (Anubis)
