Hey I always hear everyone raving about this ability but it never has worked out that well for me. Like, even when it works, mortii heroes have no damage mitigation so your creatures just die in 1 or 2 hits. Even then, the undying ability doesn't work past three rounds (which is when I usually need it). My patriarch with frozen shell keeps my creatures around way longer. Even the faen dodge ability. Anyway, I'm thinking maybe I'm just using it incorrectly or something and it seems like cripple is just a much better ability. Perhaps someone can enlighten me how to use it effectively?
I should note I only have hunaman, phantom siege, spider, and 2 thalassa as for 5* creatures.

With a 4*, you could have Cripple and Undying together, or is that only with the computer Heroes?

You want to use cards that have a skill that takes affect when the card is played. These kinds of skills are usually quite powerful. I.E. Spirit Siren (although she has Rebirth anyway), Cyclopes, Balthazar, Gorgon, etc. With those cards, you gain a large advantage in getting those skills to activate 2 or more times. It's all about synergy

I use mortii a lot with undying, the key is to calculate every play, u need to see what the AI has in play, but also what`s in hand. every card u play needs to kill something in 1/2 turns or u`ll be swarmed easily and lose the battle. Ahriman said it right, seals + disposal/instakill are key and u cant waste any chance.
Ex. dont play a spirit siren if theres only 1 crit in play, wait and play her with a couple of other cards as well, ull lock more enemies and land more hits, and study when to play ur disposals right, dont use it on a centaur guide if u can dispose a firstborn a couple of turns later.
If u use this right, coupled with undying, u can win against pretty much anything.

Depends on the type of enemies, if enemies are killing off my other cards, I usually put my thalassas into play, at which point undying triggers (due to 2x morti, I tend to limit my morti in play), so even if they are killed after recycling, I get them back for later play, it's all based on your strategy for play. I personally find cripple useless and use 5 on it instead, pretty good for killing off near dead creatures.

Thanks for the helpful info guys!
I suppose it would help to explain further. So I went for Wight since everyone says its so good and just got it with shards yesterday. The only deck I can really make right now is:
Hunaman 2 Thalassa Phantom Liege Plague Dragon Harbringer
and 4 other slots. I'm sharding for eye of jonara (eventually want 2).
In those 4 slots I was thinking 2 pit minion and 2 flame brave. Other things I could put are 2 manticore, Cyclops, Spider queen, Naga Mistress, or lvl14 swordmaster that should get battleblow 8 on the next melding event. Any thoughts?

Cyclops plays nice with mortii, swordmaster is also good all arround, so id use those 2, manticore is also nice and 1 flame brave makes 4. Thats what i would do with the cards u mentioned. U can swap either manticore or flame brave for spider queen every now and then, depending on battle and specially when facing humans.
When u get eye use it instead of one of those last 2 options.
