Just faced 3 Captivators in a row in Gauntlet and the hero skill frequently lasts more than one round, is this a bug or is there something I'm missing?

Ive seen this aswell. Mostlikely the affects target was frozen or stunned. When ifs not able to attack the crazed sorrow lasts this it had effect.

I was thinking this as well at first but after seeing it happen so many times I realised it wasn't the case. Sometimes Crazed Sorrow would last 2 rounds for every single crit, even though only a few were frozen/delayed. Maybe if the crits don't do damage it last 2 rounds as well - I have a few Dodge cards. I originally thought it went on for more than 2 rounds as well but after started actively watching it, the effect never lasted over 2 rounds even if cards were locked down for both. I think there's a trigger in the coding to deactivate it that's been messed up or something similiar, I've sent a bug report in anyway.

From my experience the effect stays on until the crit actually attacks. If it gets frozen or delayed for multiple turns the effect stays on for as much as it takes for the creature to actually attack something.
Hope it's a bug and gets fixed.
If it's a feat all u have to do is get mass charm and a lockdown deck going and u can go through a full battle without ever seeing the other guy land a hit on u.

An all frost armor deck is a counter to captivator, to some extent anyway, the biggest advantage to captivator is that you have one complete round to yourselves. I think captivator is working just as it was supposed to.

The skill is active until every creature that is under that spell actually register a hit. In my opinion Captivator one of the best 5* heroes and the best hero that is available for the F2P users like myself. Combine the main skill with Protection and some lockdown talent(Deep Freeze or Stormcloud) and you will have pretty hard to beat deck

If it hits a snow harlot, it takes it out forever. Makes it a waste of space on the board, since snow harlot can never attack physically.
If it hits a card that's already disabled for a turn(delay, frozn, paralyzed) it stays until the next turn it can attack

I think it should work like discord: strictly 1 turn regardless of whether the crit attack or not

Wrong. Captivator's Crazed Sorrow has been "fixed" to last two full rounds until the afflicted card actually hits something. Crazed Sorrow state remains on an enemy card if its intended card Dodges or blocks the attack with Ice Coffin.
The only Creature "immune" to Crazed Sorrow is Kitsune who has an "attack animation" with Danse Macabre operating like a skill. Anyone who has a Kitsune will realize her hits never miss and will always aim 5 random Creatures.
Try observing your fights again, dear players.
