Please help me! I got my first Mythril Drone days ago, so I'm very happy because almost everyone tells me it's a keeper and that I'll be able to win most of my matches if I have that card! I'm currently lvl57, f2p, and even though I have the godly Drone, things are still going bleak and is bound to be fruitless! Mini-Introduction:1. tournament - loser (win percentage is like 5-10%!) 2. arena - loser (will only win at most 2 out of 5 daily tries!) 3. raids - a bit ok 4. exploration maps - loser (stuck at 10-5, how am I supposed to win if there are GM, Hippolyta, and Firstborn in that set?) 5. guild maps - loser (I can't remember how much I'm dealing damage, I only knew that if I reached 50k "gold" reward, it's good, so maybe I really suc*s) 6. trials - loser (struggling at 55 up to 60, will mostly lose when auto-battle is turned on!) 7. gauntlet - loser (level/stage 4 at most? yuck) 8. grimoire - loser (will occasionally lose on "level 1" matches where you have to use frost caller and ursa major as recommended heroes! never tried level 2 and up because oh well, already struggling at level 1...) Okay, so you can basically ignore my shitty introduction of how I'm playing DH in an f2p manner, so let's get back to my original concern. Mythril Drone. The wiki says Drone is good to lump in on Mortii and Human decks, but not Neander. "Using Mythril Drone in your own decks, he works well in Human or Mortii decks, but is not compatible with Neander."Note: Almost everything below are unmelded . Yep, stupid f2ps they don't really know what to prioritize Mortii cards I have worth mentioning: - Spirit Siren (aside from the 1-turn stall it generates via "seals", does this card synergizes well with Drone? Because I find the siren really underwhelming!) - Terror Dragon- Thalassa- Puppeteer - ManticoreI have Hellwolves (x3), Bloody Lords (x3), Cave Dragons (x3), a Dullahan, a Harbinger, and a Hell Knight, but these are all mediocre cards, and if I'm going to use some of them, I'll only consider mixing in a maximum of x1 Hellwolf for my standard deck (arena, raid, g-map, e-map), mainly for the Instakill ability. Human cards I have worth mentioning: - Mariner (keeper in my main deck before, now it's ditch-able, can't really compare to [Block 8]Frost Rager's longevity! Frostbite is now useless in guild maps!) - Royal Dragons (x2) (I never used these except for my defense deck in tourney; they were randomly lumped in in a factionless deck with a Devil Hunter) - Oracles (x3) - Techno-Chiefs (x3) - Swordmasters (x3) (are these really useful (Maji Shield + Frost Armor)? never bothered leveling them up to 10) I think the rest are mediocre at best: Seraphs (x5), Sentry Angels (x5), Royal Knights (x4), Flame Mages (x5), a Griffi-Knight, a Royal Dancer, a Paladin, and an Icy Mage. Nothing to see here much, I don't really have enough Human cards to start theorycrafting for a viable Human deck capitalizing on supporting Mythril Drone! Other cards I have worth mentioning: *But it's contradictory, since I am under the impression that those two factions mentioned above will provide better synergy and (results) - Light Brave- Flame Braves (x2) - Horned Beast (x3) (I really, really, really hate farming for these, damn!) - Frost Rager [with Block 8] (I think this is the only one obvious for me that will synergize well with a Drone) - Anathema- Spider Queen- Icy Huntress- Ursa Major- Panther Chief (Is this useful with Drone?) - Blood Warlock (x3) HEROES: I don't really know what Hero is best suited for Drone? I only have access to some 4-stars except Paw Master, Berseker, and Dragon Rider, almost all 3-stars except Legion and Patriarch, and all 2-stars. Most of them have level 3-4 talents. No 5-stars yet. Lol, I myself doubt that I can really get a good deck out of these cards. I just really want to fair well in Arena, Gauntlet, and very much so in Tournament. Ignore Guild Maps. Thanks for reading this post! I hope someone can help me get stronger a lil bit. Also, I enjoyed coloring some of the texts above lol

Royal Dragons (x2) Drone Anathema/Paladin Thalassa Swordmasters (x3)
swappable Techno-Chiefs (x3) Sentry angels agains morti decks..
Hero: Patriarch
NOTE: 1. Dude, like everyone would say, farm a second recycler and meld it to a horned beast 2. Focus on synergy and not on one time skill kicks 3. Your HERO is the most important aspect of the synergy, it should synergize well with the rest of the deck. you have decent humans, use them to your advantage. 4. Look at your enemy and adapt your deck depending on the circumstances 5. Please start melding
about your question, drone synnergize well with decks that do not protect themselves with enough heal and frost armor, like neanders. Humans in general however are weak against casters therefore having a drone to your decent humans would benefit a lot.

Farm another thalassa, when you're done, farm another, and another. You're totally f2p? Then farm another spider Queen. Put immunity9 on two sentry angels until you get a better target later, like phantom liege.
Next, farm three venom tyrants. Start with putting sac8 on a paladin since you use humans, the. Sac8 on a graboid or twins.
Simultaneously, since you have three techno chiefs, meld frost armor and meld rip, bloodlust7, or frost blade5 on the swordmaster.
If you don't understand melding, take frost ragers and try it to see how it works.
Lastly. Since you are mid level, add flame mages and the flame brave and as high sorcery rune as you can. Magic spam will take even meteocre decks and instantly increase the win rate while doing the above montg long projects.

x faints x
Well, no complaining for f2ps, since I'm not paying even a single dime here, and I just started DH last 20th of December

Sinister22 and tanisomsford are right. Month long projects? This game for a f2p is designed to be played for a year or three. Even for those that pay will play for a year or more. Very long term game. If you have patience then you will be ok.

- Tournament- Most unranked ppl target Lower Lvl decks (Sub 70), so for now I would focus on other areas and slowly get stronger here.
- Arena - The most beneficial thing here is gems as you move up. Still wouldn't focus on it though
- Raids - A curse deck will do wonders here. Search this forum and it will help greatly
- Exploration Maps - There are a ton of help on the "How to Beat" threads for each lvl
- Trials - I mainly use Trials for some free gold each day and Wight shards. Lvl 60 is a good level for that, so I just auto until I lose and some days I do a few manual fights to push a lil farther
- Guild Maps - This is one area I would try to focus a little, b/c it will give you the gold for the melds that everyone is recommending. Plenty of threads on this forum to help you in this area and Drone will be a big plus.
- Gauntlet - I used to suck here until I got some tips from threads and got more cards. I also started limiting my Gauntlet Max power (around 9.3k) and that made huge difference.
- Grimoire - Same thing, tons of threads on how to beat 5*'s with cheap decks. Just need to have specific cards for each individual challenge.
Also, think about what you are trying to accomplish as you build each deck and its weaknesses. If you are trying to build a deck to Kill the Hero, go all out w/ Curse, Godswill and Stabthrough cards. Trying to Lockdown, include Tempest, Frostbite, Frostblade, Seals... Just putting your best cards together will not make the best deck. Good luck

Thanks guys, I appreciate all the tips and advices given above! Still, I am basically crying here since I find myself agonized farming for Thalassa's fodder ingredients AGAIN. You know what I have been doing all this time? - used all 1* and 2* creatures as level fodders because they are plain annoying (goodbye, Zombie Kings) - except for the honorable Horned Beast, I will not keep any horses and donkeys and mules in my collection (goodbye, Night Terrors) - Fire Lizard and Desert Stinger are comparatively similar (reddish in color) so I confusedly ended up using them all as food even though the former are Thalassa's precious eggs - generally hate the overall aesthetics of Neander race, so that means everything was in Holocaust mode except for few 4*s (heck, even the 4* Neanders are a bit underwhelming), and Blood Warlocks, really wtf I want all those "Trolls" back! I HATE THIS. I HATE THIS. I HATE THIS. I'm basically done with this if I only knew earlier that I'll be needing a 2nd Thalassa...TT I figured out one Thalassa is okay, that it doesn't need to be changed or melded because, oh, it fits so much on my Wight Deck and seeing that other Mortii creatures can buff Thalassa's (max) HP and ATK (the same as every faction does), it can sit at 2000+ HP and I'm satisfied with it, so I thought why the hell am I going to exchange that decently-sized HP for a Horned Beast's smaller HP? Later on, I encountered the Disposal-Retreat universe of DH, and I'M SO MAD EVERY TIME HANUMAN, GORGON, OR BALTHAZAR APPEARS, they will always destroy my Thalassa on the first few rounds because of the latter's 6-turn s*** ! I want to believe HORNED BEAST WILL PERFORM BETTER, and if not... ( imma ragequit) As for the Gauntlet, there's such a thing as "minimizing/toning down your max power levels" so that you can win matches better? I though people only used it on Raids (I discovered it thanks to this forums). But seriously, my problem here is stubornness.. even though people says Oracle(s) is a must, I find it boring to use [even] one in Gauntlet so I can only clear one or two stage at a time.

haeduans, wow I've had plenty of those days. I think one of the biggest things to remember while playing DH is that it is a game. If it stops being fun for you, maybe take a break; come back to it later and if it still isn't fun, just delete it. It is meant to be enjoyed. The 2nd Thalassa (Recycle) is so that when you first one does get sent to the graveyard, you can get it back. And when/if you start trying to move up in Tournament, you will need to build 3 separate decks. At that point, it would be best to have 1 recycler in each deck. Most players end up farming a 3rd Thalassa (a major pain in my current life), while a few players get lucky and win a Recycle/Revive from Altar, Boosters, and Ultima Chests. I put my first Recycle on Horned Beast and even though the hp is lower, he doesn't get disposed often and he dodges the physical attacks 50% of the time. The forums have good options (Horned Beast, SwordMaster, Light Brave, Harbinger), HB is one of them. Gauntlet, if you open Gauntlet and in the top left corner is a question mark. Click it and you will see your Power:. This is the highest deck power that you have ever made in any of the four deck slots. You cannot lower this, but you can try to make sure that you don't raise it anymore. Gauntlet will also get easier to clear more stages as you get more cards and more heroes.

Sorry to here you gonna quit, but can understand where you are coming from. All i would say is to read as much of the pinned threads as possible on this forum. And especially the LillyAnne chronicle by Somar, which is all about his? f2p alt account adventure. I started an alt myself to try this out as well, albeit star only, and have done so much better and quicker the 2nd time round. Im lvl 54 with the alt and already have 2 x recycle HB.... but that is just because i am so focused from Somar's thread. My main account, lvl 84, only got 2nd thalassa at the same time Back to Somar, he did not spend any gemz or couponz, and after 6/7 months had 50k gemz and 1000+ couponz

Hey! Sorry you've been having a hard time. It is a very patient game, and if you are fed up it just isn't worth your time. But here is my advice: 1) Just hop on GM whenever possible and don't worry too much. But when you hit a map with a sacrifice creature, use up your tries and you'll get all the damage for the sacrifice. (Easy way to get money and stuff) Also, the panther chief is useful for taking out that sacrifice dahlia if you get his damage especially with Zora. 2) For Tournament when you get there, make your primary deck, an instakill deck with those hellwolfs, and another so-so deck with whatever. 3) Gauntlets are hard when you don't have a disposal to get you past those hard decks, try and farm a Hanuman, but I honestly don't even do gauntlet often just because it takes so much time and effort. 4) Farm Thalassa, I have 3 and am working on 4. And then meld on Horned Beast. 5) Start a hero-killer deck on the side. I started late on this, but keep border rangers and witches and then meld them when you get a chance. 6) For your current deck, here is my recommendation with a little progress on your part. - 2x Thalassa - 2x Flame Brave for magic damage - 2x Swordmaster - 1x Mythril Drone - 1x Sentry Angel with Immunity 9 - The last 2 are up to you. Oracles will keep you healed, Sentry Angels give you FA, Anathema bullseye, Spirit Siren delay, etc.
Source: I am f2p, started beginning of last summer and barely played at all until the fall. I have been incredibly unlucky with draws, but with my stubbornness I got a human deck and fought my way to the 3-4k tournament range. I have all 4 stars in my primary deck except Balthazar, but the human melds are key. Oh, and I went p2p a couple weeks ago so I can get some capital for Alice's Bond. I'll probably quit p2p in a couple months though.
