FA for ease Though I9 would be super good too. if I would suggest an off the wall BB8 for a super hard hitter though kind of waisted without bullseye and sac8 be interesting but quite risky without stoneskin.

I9, no questions asked, nothing else is comparable. Because of drone, fafnir, paragon etc many players have sac graboid in deck. Don't you think I9 arcane sage will be another easy target for him?

I like delay 3 or 4. Unbound might be nice. I like the idea of lockdown with his Blase 10/ or anti-lockdown with his Vacuum Bomb and Blazing new crits that come into play.

The golden rule is that any card with zero defensive skills will generally benefit more from immunity than anything else. This holds true for the vast majority of cards. Despite a weakness to Graboid, Sage is certainly no different.
One of many issues with FA is it can be easily bypassed by so many things- magic, lockdown, disposal, retreat, bullseye, battleblow, chainstrike. Immunity is dependable against anything non-physical 90% of the time. Is that worth a Graboid weakness? You choose.

Think about where you are in the game and who your opponents are. In my arena at the top 10 you don't see Sac Grab, and if someone is using it they are usually lacking in good cards and are easy to beat.

Immunity 8 and above is by far the best meld for him. I'm not big fan of FA because it can be countered by so many ways.

My golden rule is anything with absolutely no defenses I put disposal on The HP buffs from paragon plus nice starting stats make Sage tanky enough to make good use of immunity though. I still like disposal on stuff like KQ.

Not always, if you're running something like revive Mythril / Fafnir as your most expensive card Sac 8 graboid is a great counter to armies of clones

I'm one step behind you guys. I have 3 sages now and I'm not sure if I should try to meld one of them. They are great against those pesky harlots on GM and can be used together to generate excellent damage. So to those who did make the meld - was it worth it ? How many copies did you have before you tried to meld ?

I guess it's not worth the risk, unless you have enough meld 5* cards to make sure you can get what you want on it. Rather, keep them all for the high dmg they have..

Also, how did you get 3 of them? Did you draw one, or all 3 unsealed? How much to unseal the 3rd one? i'm currently considering unsealing the 2nd one, but I'm not rushing yet

So yes, I have unsealed 3 sages. The third one needs 6 cards from each 4* and the fourth needs 10 from each.

I know some sealed cards have been given out in other ways before. I think maybe a total spending deal. I recall seeing Phoenix as a prize for something like this before not sure about others.

I put FA5 on mine. I have mythril in my deck, and not much bullseye or disposal exists in my arena. He's great at one-shotting pesky cards and sometimes sac anathema; my problem is he seems to get retreated often. In guild map, he's also ridiculous, however i9 with a lot of healing might be more efficient, especially in the map with archdeva.

Arcane sage sucks, it's better to meld sneak to other cards. Is melding sneak from Arcane sage worth it? Keeping in mind you will destroy vacuum bomb and blaze which can be usefull against Snow harlots at guild maps for instance. Assuming my Anathema has 1000 att, sneak 8 will make it 1200 and sneak 9 makes 1350, only 150 dmg more.. Would love to hear your opinion!

You got a better source for sneak, as moon guardian sucks and the difference between sneak 8 and 9 is not worth destroying sage. Regarding guild maps, of course there are better cards, but we were talking about damaging harlots. Using sages is a more than decent solution. I guess there's no "right" or "wrong" in this business and everyone can do whatever he feels like.

But I'm still not sure if it's worth it to meld sneak from arcane sage. 150 more dmg doesn't seems to be that much, but maybe it will be doubled with some att buffs and good violence rune? 300+ dmg sounds like it could be worth it right?

100% agree. Don't meld sneak from Arcane when you can get it from MG, which we all know that you totally don't use.

Arcane sage will not kill GM harlots. 500 damage is way too less to kill them efficiently. Better option is to first get rid of other creatures then focus on killing harlots with multiple blood warlocks.

Disagree, i say meld off that sneak 9. 15% extra damage is a big deal when you consider runes and healer rune buffs.
