Hi everyone. Played this game like one month and i liked it. Problem is what i should do it never got *5 yet (without unseal/First time gem used). I am also F2P. Whatever you do, don't level too fast. Alternatively, you may hit as many mazes as possible to increase the numbers of 4* if you're lucky enough, but I don't think the payoff is good enough if your luck is bad. Some luck folks get their 4*/5* from mazes, but I probably got about 3 4* in mazes and been playing for 3 months or so.
You wanna stay low level as much as possible, so you may place well at Trials/Gauntlet. You got a nice starting hero. Too bad you got 2 got 5* Mortii. Still those two are useful enough to use.
I'd focus on using your Human creatures, so level them and get them to 15. Get some useful melded ones like Oracle and/or Frost Rager (for things like Guild maps). Eventually you will get more 4*s, hopefully Swordmasters (you can get one from 5-8 Hard. Save that Techno-Chief for a future Meld (Life Sap 7 seems pupular). You are missing some key Human 3* like Flame Mage and Border Ranger. Eventually you will grab some.

Gauntlet and to lesser extent Trials are the only negative to leveling. everything else is positive. More friends, more ability to share energy with friends, more creature slots, more hps for hero and finally more cost space in your deck. I could see maybe trying to complete gauntlet once just to get the gems from it, but sooner or later you will want those levels.

Hmm if i slowing my lvl up, where is way to get easy gold without getting much exp? Guild maps are a huge supply of coins. You get 5 coin per damage with a 500k coin cap each battle. I have 63 million coin at the moment.

Max dmg for 1-1 is 21k lol.... That's still 105k. Get some frost ragers w/bless and some oracles (farm oracles everyday). Get that guild damage up and you'll have more gold than you can shake a stick at

You are missing some key Human 3* like Flame Mage and Border Ranger. Eventually you will grab some. While I do agree with some of this strategy, I want to clarify how Gauntlet power works for you. Gauntlet power is based off of your HIGHEST ever deck strength. Leveling up does increase your deck power, but very marginally. Adding cards into the new unlocked spaces will be the largest single deck power increase you are likely to encounter. Personally, if I were in your situation atm I'd farm the gauntlet. It is far easier at lower levels and the end rewards are amazing such as 5* creatures and even 4* full heroes. The major issue with this plan is avoiding increasing your overall deck power. Things that will increase deck power: Leveling up Leveling up hero skills More deck cards Higher valued deck cards or Evolving cards (DONT waste time on 3* evolves unless you have a specific plan, i.e. frost rager with bless. all other evolve/melds won't get used once you get stronger cards) There are some ways to manipulate this to get the gauntlet done and are covered pretty well in the gauntlet thread. Leveling up a TON of 3* cards that synergize well together can get you multiple gauntlet clears relatively easily. I could easily make a deck with 8k+ power atm but feel that my Gauntlet at ~7700 and still manage to get top 5 in arena most days against 8100+ decks so worry about arena rank rewards later on in the game after you have farmed 4* heroes and a bunch of bomb cards from Gauntlet completion. By farming the Gauntlet, you also increase the time it will take you to get that first 4* hero. While it took me 2+ months to get a summoning hero, if you clear the Gauntlet daily, you could easily have a Berserker in 2-3 weeks.

Yeah, I'm aware of that. However, not leveling will limit his deck power too because like people already posted he simply cannot use all at the same time.
But anyway he doesn't need to level up too fast. I'm not saying don't level up at all. I'm saying instead of spending all his energy on things that would increase level faster than normal, do something else with the energy that would improve his card pool (you don't need that many amazing melds at the same deck and the time for Gauntlet/Trials, it's for versatility purpose).
The thing with slowing down leveling up isn't only for Gauntlet in mind. It's more for Trials. He may aim for higher placements during lvl 30-40/40-50 branch. He got an amazing hero earlier on to do so, so he can take things slowly and rack some extra gems before reaching 50+. Now if he starting leveling up fast, from 30 to 50+ is actually very fast. Still even when you slowdown your level progress, you still will get enough XP for key explore/dailies/1-2 maze done/trials. I'm saying don't go crazy on leveling up.
Of course, if he can see that Trial placement is too hard, then go for it and do as much mazes as possible for possible 4*/5* drops (like I recommended although not as explicit) and forget it about low leveling. Although for my experience during level 20 to 40, placing to top 25 wasn't hard even with a 2* hero, so I imagined that with a 4*, it could carry him in a good placement that the extra gems would be worthy the effort.
