this event will suck for European players. Especially if you make to the later stages, battles start at midnight GMT

btw. are the same decks used for defense and offense? the tabs says defense but assume that is just carryover from regular tournament code...
as an aside if we can't even choose matchups that would reopen the door for some strategies with specific weak areas (e.g. alchemist magic deck, decks with lots of mortii creatures etc.)
if the match making is high-power vs. low power it's going to be pretty boring. DH ain't like tennis, almost no way a #100 can ever upset a #1 seed. And the betting lines are going to be so skewed that even if favorite wins there is almost no payout or possibly even negative payout (as you can be sure IGG will charge a hefty vig as well)

I wonder if the decks are locked as in super-locked or locked into your creatures and if you meld them during the event, your deck will actually change.

"The current state of the player's Decks at the start of Tryouts will be the Decks that will be used throughout the event." So no, IGG already covered this.

The problem posing about low deck powere or raid decks used will be. In the final round, you have lower chance to win against decks that went all out.

The only references to prizes are for Elimination round (last 64), wager points top 100 and predicting the grandchamp. Outside that nothing is mentioned, but i am hoping for something to be there for try-out wins? If nothing for try-out wins then hardly worth the majority of people entering, including myself, and unlimited gem wagers do not appeal either

You literally only set up 3 decks and then leave it 'til the end of the event. There's also no way of spending gems or energy on this, so it's a free event, through and through. All with a chance of winning prizes. It's, like, 3 minutes of work at no currency cost. Of course it's worth it, even if you don't win anything.

For the 64 Elimanation spots you are quite correct, it would be silly not to enter. However, realistically, beaing outside the tourny top 100 does kinda make it very unlikely to be there in the last 64, and this is my point. As for gems, IGG will be counting on the wager feature to make them piles of cash. Reading the small print you are allowed to make unlimited gem wagers. And, you can make as many predications for Grand Champion, but not sure if this is gem based, i expect it is though?

What gems will that be then Ooops double meaning. I'll put all my gems on a bet when the time comes. Really?? The top 64 will be difficult to differitate and i presume it will still be the automated best of 3? I suppose if it was rank 64 tourny vs Jaberou i would put a few gems on?

im sure they wont use raid decks. Their main decks can pretty much beat anyone in the game, thats why they are rank 1 & 2 in tourney.

Jab and Grim should be safe bets. jab and grim yup are safe but depends on rate of return... See any loopholes to exploit for guarantees returns... It's not an exploit to simply be able to predict who's going to do well based on their decks. The only thing IGG needs to do (if they feel like it) is to make an odds table, where you get a larger return of investment if you bet on someone who's less likely to win than on someone like Jab or Grim (what are their full in-game tags? I need to know... for research purposes).

Im guessing it is all about boosting Capricorn as much as possible. She has a mental ability, cannot remember the rules for it, but im guessing boosting her stats makes it more powerful? One of those Anathema's is probably SAC, still one of my fave cards. Nidhogs are probably revive?

Sure, her timer's only 2 and her 3rd skill, Fervent, is a bit special. If someone attempts to attack her (this includes "status effects", like Seals), she'll retaliate with direct damage equivalent to 25% of her current attack. Still, Grim has to have better creatures than Capricorn boosted by 2 so-so Neanders (Anathema doesn't even have Earth Totem!).
