I currently have the following heroes that I believe to be top tier: * Taskmistress (lvl 6) * Judgment (lvl 6) * Oceanus (lvl 8) * Spirit Arbiter (lvl 5) * Captivator (lvl 2)
My 3 main heroes (for tournaments and such) are Judgment, Oceanus and Spirit Arbiter. Should I just drop Judgment and use Armageddon?

No. Why? In tourny Lvl6 Judge is much better than lvl6 Armageddon (I don't even talk about lvl1 Arm).
He is a good hero, but not top hero.

I forgot to mention that I'd, of course, wait 'til I've leveled Armageddon a bit before dropping Judgment in favour of Armageddon. MY thinking was simply that being able to remove the opponents' dead creatures would give you more board control, but now that I think about it more, a high immunity deck using Judgment would probably be much better?

Why isn't Arma a top hero? He is just an Oceanus that requires actual skill to use lol. Idk if it's worth dropping Judgement for him, but go for it if you're willing to experiment.

I have Judgement lvl 1 and he is pretty good if you have some necessary creatures for example Paragon... I don´t and it always seems that my decks is still weak... I don´t think you will have that problem considering the heroes you have!
But as corvin said... Armageddon is probably the second best hero after Captivator at lvl 1 (Crazy Sorrow is pretty good for what I see) but that´s it... You can´t compare between a Judgement lvl 6 and an Armageddon lvl 1... That´s for sure!

Is arma really that good? I stopped collecting shards for him and have just been hoarding ore until I had to make a decision. I am about 50 shards ahead of him vs oceanus, do you think I should go for it?

What is the skill aspect, other than having paragons, which I don't have :/

The skill aspect is not relying entirely on your opponent's deck in order to win XD With Armageddon your deck actually has to be good, unlike with Oceanus lol.

Armageddon also has the added bonus of removing one of your opponents' creatures from play if his Hero Skill activates successfully. I.e. even if you don't have Paragon or your Paragon(s) get killed, the creature can never be brought back for the duration of the fight.

The better creatures has your opponent, the best works Oceanus skill... That´s what I figured out... Your best hero is your worst weakness against an Oceanus!

Yeah but the problem is that a lot of players has recycle 1 or 2 on their decks and without Paragon is going to be hard to keep Reanimation active the whole time... I have that specific problem now!

Surely if you need strong creatures for arma, oceanus is its worst nightmare?

I fought a good one in sky arena today, but it was a sky arena deck, so it was only 7 cards, it slowly chipped away at my 5 card deck using my sac twins, pretty brutal when your favourite card puts you in the ground.

Armageddon is the king of manual play... I used him to finish 90% of map 15. For tournament he is not the best. Why are you not using Taskmistress? I have no experience with TM other than AI on map 15 and she is very OP on map 15.

Speaking of, Got 5 Cap shards yesterday; Finally after at least 7-10 days got 2 from Mall, and 3 from Gauntlet. Now that saving gems for Bond, i fear it is going to be a good while before I get Arm from the ore mall :/. Have 15 shards from whatever events + 2nd gem mine (when I was doing it), but the ore mined from the energy mine is just insanely low.
