Hi.
I saw the thread about the treant guide melding and I was thinking of starting to meld some 3* creatures just for fun, no need to wait for the 2x melding event.
So I need some recommendations of 3* creatures that are worth melding and I assume it's mostly for guild maps. I don't have a map deck that does more than 30k dmg constantly, so except the maps where Venom Tyrant and Dhalia help me suicide their cards, I do little dmg and hence, I get little money.
So, I know Frost Ragers are pretty helpful for Guild Maps, and I guess it works with Block 7/8 maybe? Other suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
PS: Also, for Dark Witch, what meld would be good? Not for Guild Maps, but in general, for a curse deck.

Lol please don't meld block onto frost rager. Meld soul swap instead. With rune youll get its attack to 2k and it will help do more guild map damage.

So, I'll put it like this in a list, it's easier to follow: Frost Rager + Soul Swap (With rune youll get its attack to 2k and it will help do more guild map damage) I know there are other threads about this, I've read most of them, but they are pretty old (2014, 2015) and maybe meta has changed meanwhile. So hopefully we'll make this thread an "2016 updated kick-a** monster guide to 3* melding options", lol

Hey fotgs,
I'd recommend you take soul swap for the frost rangers, with the rune its not only making them more tanky, but boosting their atk each turn Treant ranger is a great card with block or frost armor
And for the dark witches I would take stabthrought or discord

Meld some bb8 manticores. I've got 3 and still use them on occasion @ lvl 94. Great cards for a long time

You can build a really solid deck with 8 frost rangers againts certain maps without magic damage. 3 Bless 7 Frost Rangers, 5 Soul Swap FRs, 2 Dodge 6/Block 8 Treant Guide or 1 treant guide + 1 mythrill done if there are magic dmg dealers. This works well in map 1 where there's not bulleye. You might have problems in heavy magic dmg decks if you don't draw mythrill early on so for those decks, you'll need oracles instead of frost rangers. But of course, it takes much more time to build.

Ok,
Dark Witch - I would recommend Discord. Enemy card usually has more ATK than DW, it also prevents an attack on one of yours (and its use of skills), plus it doesn't mess up your VooDoo Rune - Rage Control. - For a Fun one, put Detonate with Rune. It's nice when the enemy is having a hard time getting rid of a DW
Frost Rager - Soul Swap isn't bad, but why not Anger 6/7? With 40-45 rounds of being attacked, you could gain 2400-3150. Put an Anger Rune on there (a 1* that is easy to upgrade) and you could go higher. Soul Swap is limited to 2k at most.
Flame Mage - Roll 10 of them during Guild Battles, meld {S}Typhoon, Blaze, Sage Advice, Retaliate, or Meteor> With Fire Rune!
The Unseen - Meld VooDoo; becomes a reverse Dark Witch (extra Curse on exit instead of entrance), but with Rebirth
Manticore - I also like to meld Stabthrough; no way to stop him from hitting the hero and he has rebirth

^^ FR with Anger is nice if there are not heavy magic dmg dealers, if there is a phoenix and you do't have mythrill drone, anger is useless as you'll die before ever reaching 1k dmg. Otherwise it's the best option for magic-less maps until you get mythrill

Thanks all for the suggestions. Is there a good meld and eventually a good use for Frost Caller?
I'm getting to a point where I need to "make room" in the inventory and I want to know which cards to keep, which to use as enhancement source and which to meld.

Frost Armor can't be melded on 3* I want to put Frost Armor 5 from Sentry Angel and I can't, it says it can be learned for 4-5* creatures

You should toss pretty much all 3 stars except those needed for seals, manticore, frost rager, dark witch, border ranger, lazy guard, alert guard, and treant guide. The rest are mostly garbage. *blood warlock- dodge, earth totem *Manticore- bb8 *frost rager- soul swap, bless, anger, bloodlust *darkwitch- discord, dodge *border ranger- bloodlust, stabthrough, dodge *lazy guard- use as master for dodge6 melds *alert guard- use as master for bb8 and stone skin.
There are a few others with decent bloodlust, anger, lifesap, earth totem, etc to use for masters but these are not nearly as melded as dodge6 and bb8. As for good stab through melds look to the 2★ morti shadowstalker with stab through 7.
