So... I just wanted to post about one of the best bugs to exploit in game.. I don't personally use it that often because I try not to invest that much time in the game (because I play too much already).. also the bug exploit doesn't work all the time.. okay with that said.. if you're in a pinch and about to lose in a round of almost anything, disconnect your Internet service and reconnect. Now you have a 2nd chance.

Not really a bug though, the server sends a request to the client, and the client responds to complete the action, if no response is generated, then nothing really happened.. in that sense

Was losing in a round of gauntlet, did a reset using this trick and beat the round on the second try.

Deliberate disconnecting is the lowest you can go in online gaming.
Games have to now literally keep track of the d/c rates (check any sports game) because it's become an epidemic.
Learn to take a loss.

I'd actually like it if it wouldn't reset when you disconnect. Every time I switch from connecting to the Internet on my mobile provider to my wifi or vice versa, I go through a reset/ai completes the run for me. At times I forget it's going to happen cause I'm on the run while playing and it'll mess me up. And I'm moving around a lot cause of work. To prevent this from happening I turned my wifi off at times so I could manually connect to wifi when I want. The game doesn't eat up that much data anyway, but I completely forgot to turn on my wifi once. I watched a few videos and got warning messages I was using up all my bandwidth allowance for the month. WiFi is back to connect automatically for the month now heh. I used this trick 2 or 3 times, but it's equally messed me up too.

If it can be exploited, then it probably will be exploited. And we're talking about a pretty obvious bug. I've been d/c many times while playing, and naturally noticed it does a reset. Plus its just a game in the end if we want to start getting judgmental about it. That's about all i have to say for the defense of OP and myself. Again, I'd be more happy if this issue got fixed because it's more annoying than helpful to me. I can gauge if I'm going to win or not most of the time. Doesn't make a big difference if you do a reset.

This isn't a bug. If you d/c quite rightly it should reset as it's wouldn't be fair to auto the match.

I would rather take the loss then go through the trouble to do that. I wouldn't really feel like I won if I did that . People used to disc all the time on starcraft back in the day I hated it.

Well in the gauntlet, it's pretty useful to take out key cards like Great Mystic with Spiky Bits, but they only have one nuke and you need a lucky draw. Or need to abuse Venom Tyrant in a deck full of recycle.
It works 100% as long you didn't lay a card yet. If you dropped a card, it will not reset sometimes.
For other modes, I don't think it's useful because it will still consume the energy spent or limit of tries. Dunno if it works in tournaments or guild battles. Unless this bug gives back the try. I don't think it's that game breaking exploit.

I used to play a game that could save where you were in the game even if you d/c. Different play style but you use stamina to enter a dungeon and fight through it etc. The whole reset/game finishes for you thing is annoying because of those times you get a lucky draw. I would like that over having the advantage of resetting if you get bad draws. Imagine being stuck on gauntlet, waited 12 hours for everything to come back, got that lucky draw, you pass a dead zone for Internet connection and reset. Yeah would make you very very mad. People feel loses more than gains emotionally :T plus this isn't starcraft. It doesn't compare correctly because you may be facing other people, but beating them doesn't affect their stats or anything unlike battlenet.

I played a good game before and DC is the most serious issue. I don't think I can judge others about this but as for my own character being a sport minded person where win and loss motivates me, I never used it.

I think I've figured out the mechanics of this. You can disconnect and reset as long as there is a stopping point in which you have to make a decision to play a creature. If you auto you can't reset. If you play and during the 2 rounds ( or more if you don't have creatures that are ready to be played your next go around) will result in you dying, you can't reset. In other words if the round is going to result in your death or the opponents death, thus no more decisions left to be made by your part, the game will already be resolved and recorded. You can even wait until all your creatures are dead except one left in your hand, you can reset for a fresh go.

This doesn't work for me, been trying to beat lvl 45 in the Trails for 2 weeks and when i tried this "glitch" i reloaded the game to see that it just took away one of my attempts, so it still counted it as a loss.
I know it counted as a loss because you won't lose an attempt unless you lose, so I didn't lose my attempt just by "attempting" to beat him, you don't lose attempts if you win so why should we lose attempts if he d/c?
