Hey guys, so I've been thinking about an idea for a new feature which I'm sure could solve a lot of the problems that high level F2P players are facing currently.
Name of the Feature: Duel
Unlocks at: Level 80.
About: Every day you're given 5 free Passes which you'll need to use this feature. Once you use a Pass, you'll be matched with a random opponent who has a deck power similar to your Gauntlet's power (using your Gauntlet power and not your current power is needed in order to prevent cheesing the system). You then fight that opponent just like how you'd fight someone in Arena. 1 deck only, and no manual battles allowed. You do have a choice to back out of a fight, but you will NOT get your used Pass back.
When you lose, you are granted 1 shard of a random creature from your opponent's deck (this shard isn't "stolen" from your opponent, so there's no need to worry about losing shards); however, when you win, you are granted 2 shards of any creature of your choosing from your opponent's deck.
Winning a lot or winning multiple times in succession will grant you bonus rewards (keep in mind that backing out of a battle counts as a loss):
Losing has its benefits as well. Losing 3 times in a row will grant your creatures with x1.5 ATK and HP until you win.
Once 100 wins have been reached and you have collected your rewards, your wins are reset back to 0.
Once you've reached a 25 win streak, it isn't reset until you lose.
5 Passes can be purchased for 300 gems (limited to 5 purchases a day). Buying all 5 extra sets of Passes in one day will grant your creatures x2 ATK and HP for 5 battles (I had to include an incentive for whales to spend gems lol. Gotta keep IGG's money hungry selves happy).Also, once a month, people who have amassed 50 or more wins for that month will have a chance to open a special chest. The reward is chosen randomly from 5 possible rewards:
Getting 100 wins will give you a second chance, 150 will give you a third, and so on.Lastly, players will be given rewards at the end of the month based upon their rank on the "Total Wins " Leaderboard (ranks are reset at the beginning of each month).
So basically, this feature is meant to be a way for high level F2P players to get past the annoying ceiling that they've probably hit. Although it is meant for F2P players, whales can make decent use out of it as well.
It allows players to grind for better cards at a decent rate, while giving them rewards for winning frequently.
