Hello,
I’ve been playing for a few days now, and have made steady progress. Initially I was getting good cards at about the same rate I was getting essences to level them up, so it was a pretty easy choice on what to level. In the last couple of days, the cards available have increased pretty significantly to the point I can actually start making some decisions on which cards to use, working on synergies in my deck, and maybe even make more than one deck. I’m still really new, though, and don’t have a strong grasp on what is needed, which cards would benefit me the most, etc.
I’m currently level 32, am on dungeon 6-8 (and having a hard time of it), get to about 40 in the trials, sitting around 900 in the arena. In addition to the standard daily rewards, I’m farming for Horned Beast, Oracle, and unsealing Spider Queen. I’ve just started going through the Chambers. All cards except those in my deck are level 0. Any recommendations on what my focus should be (cards I have to level first, 2nd deck theme, other creature to farm, focus on 2nd Thalassa instead of Spider Queen?) would be greatly appreciated.

Because you're stuck on 6-8, because its Neander-heavy deck I'd say enhance the two centuar chiefs and the satyr sentry because of miasma.

Thanks, I'll look into them. The Faen Rampager is clearly the weakest in my current deck; whom else should I remove to make room for the new cards?
If I maximize the Faen synergies, I would get rid of the Ursa Major and Hellwolf. I don't mind the Ursa Major so much, but the Hellwolf's Instakill is really nice if I can time it right after they play a 5* card. Any other suggestions?

Always buy glory point hero from bazaar, as long as it can be bought with gold. Do trials and mazes as much as possible, gauntlet too. And don't forget doing daily task, claiming coupon shard each time.
Thay way, you'll get to level 35 rather easily, where the fun begins.
At level 35, dump all glory points on rune. Make sure you get 3 runes upgraded: sorcery rune, fire rune, flaming rune.
Level up two or three frost ragers to level 10, magic weavers one or two.
Equip fire rune and flaming rune on flame brave, fire rune on magic weavers, sorcery rune on hero. Fill other rune slots with vigor or vitality.
Core deck until you pass map 7: Predator with lv 4+ sorcery rune. Flame brave with lv5+ fire and flaming rune. Magic weaver with lv4+ fire rune. 3-4 frost ragers. Thalassa.
Add necessary cards according to whatever map you are facing. Meet curse deck? Add oracle. Neander? Add centaur chief.

Thanks for the advice, Soebandrijo. I do all of the daily activities you mentioned, and thanks for the tips on runes since I should hit 35 today or tomorrow. Had I known I would have been saving the glory point heros, but I'll save now and wait for runes.
I had enough essence to level a second Frost Rager and a Magic Weaver to level 10 and replaced my Rampager and Ursa Major and was able to get to 7-3 right away. I'll work on more essences to get another of each put in.

Okay, I'm now level 41 and have modified my deck as shown below. I've gotten a new hero and a few new cards, among them a second Flame Brave and my first farmed Horned Beast. I'm now a bit stuck on 7-6, have cleared the Gauntlet once, am getting to level 50 in the trails (but not beating it yet), and am a little under 450 in the Arena. I'm doing decently in Raids, but have yet to get anything done in the Tournament. In fact even the lowest ranked people are well above me in level (75+), so I need to look into strategies for that.
I've been saving up some essences, so I can level a few more guys. As I get skill runes for my deck, I'm equipping them and using level I runes to level a few of them up. In addition to all the daily activities and farming more runes, what would be a good next step? Are there incremental improvements I can make to my deck? Should I work on farming a 2nd Thalassa (I think so, just looking for confirmation)? Should I start working on a second deck (don't know if that's helpful for Tournament, gauntlet, etc).

yes. farm a 2nd thalassa. then a third. also, use both the flame braves in your deck, runed up with a high power fire rune. and finish energy mine daily for mythril drone. you should get it in 2 months if you're pure f2p.

If you can collect all 4 heavens blessings daily, you'll have no problem completing everything you need to. Make sure you start adding friends so you can get a bit more energy daily also. Additionally, you can buy energy with gold in the bazaar four times a day I believe. *EDIT* I assumed you had purchased star, it would give you an additional 15 energy for blessing. Without star, you should still be safe.

I have purchased Star, usually get all four blessings a day, buy everything the Bazaar offers for gold (no gem purchases and only do glory purchases if I need the hero shards). I'll check on the mine again ... I've been doing a bunch of Chamber farming, so maybe the mine won't stretch me as this as I think.

never do more than the first chest for any gem mine unless you have thousands of gems to spare. save up for alice bond. i'd suggest till you get a couple alice bonds, don't spend gems on mine at all. just do the energy mine.

Yeah, I am only doing the energy mine, but even that still seems like a lot of energy to spend. If the consensus is that it's worth it to finish daily, I won't argue the validity, it just seemed like a lot.

I looked at some of the math, and I don't see how I can do everything and finish the energy mine every day. The things I do daily that cost energy are: Clear Map 6 Maze twice (60 steps, an average of 3.5 per die roll, 4 energy per step = 138 avg energy to finish maze twice) Farm Horned Beast (3 dungeons * 5 explores each * 4 energy per explore = 60) Farm Oracle (3 dungeons * 5 explores each * 4 energy per explore = 60) Farm to Unseal, assuming only 1 creature per day (3 dungeons * 5 explores each * 4 energy per explore = 60)
That adds up to 318 energy every day on those tasks. Finishing a mine is 200 energy (5 spots each at 4, 8, 12, 16 energy per step), which would bring the daily total to 518. Since I'm Star, I get 180 from the four daily events plus a couple of times a day the Bazaar has 10 energy to buy for gold. That's 200 energy plus what naturally refreshes (assume a full 16-hour day with no energy lost = 192 energy). That means every day I make up to 392 energy without spending gems. EDIT: Oh, and friends ... so ~25*2 = 50 additional energy up to 442 energy.
So I still don't see how I can finish the energy mine everyday and still do the other daily tasks. Is finishing the mine more important than clearing the maze twice? More important than some of the creature farming I'm doing? Since I'm new I don't know what are appropriate priorities, but what I'm doing every day now is what I've read as the important things to do. I don't mind adjusting, I just need some help understanding.

I do the maze once daily (if that), it gives a crap load of experience, so it's good in that regard. All your other activities seem to be a necessity, so I definitely would continue those. All comes down to you, finishing the mine really isn't worth it if the energy consumption interferes with exploration or experience gaining.

U r star, so another plan u can have is go up to 1st chest on 1st gem mine. That cost 100 gems and u got more ore. And u can do energy mine up to 2nd or 3rd chest and save energy. U will get 5 star hero even faster, but depends if u want spend gems on that.

Illuminati, that's a good point. I've heard everyone say gems should be saved for Alice Bond, so I've been pretty skimpy with my gems for the moment, other than getting the map guides and a couple of incidentals. I'll definitely keep the gem mine in mind, though.

I’ve leveled my second Flame Brave and have leveled one of the two Oracles I have recently received. I’ve also gotten Balthazar and a few more 4* creatures (changes in bold). Everyone in my deck has the runes I’ve been able to find and most of the I, II, III runes are level 4. I should unseal the Spider Queen and farm my second Horned Beast tomorrow. Until I’m able to meld, are there any improvements I can make to my deck with the cards I have?
When I get the last shards, it seems like replacing one Frost Rager with the new HB makes sense. Would the Spider Queen be a good addition when I have her? If so, which creature would she replace? Are there some specific adjustments I can make to tune the deck for Gauntlet, Guild Maps, or Chamber 4 farming?
