Is Lord Bones a good card to keep and level up? I'm thinking of melding the Soul Snatch 8 away to another card. Which card would be a good recipient of this skill?

I think he would be great with fa. But what are the chances of getting 2 or 3 of him?

So I'm more incline to meld his Soul Snatch away to another 5* creature. I can see the other 5* creature with Soul Snatch is Ridge Hunter. Has anybody melded Soul Snatch before? Is it working well for you? I'm thinking of melding Soul Snatch to Sea Wizard.

Soul Snatch has lost his true power since the arrival of RTQs... SSnatch8 Pit Dragon was quite good in the past Maybe SS8 Anathema is good. He need to have Immunity or Stoneskill in order to survive. He need to have Bulleye to let the SS8 effect. So Anathema is a good choice. Or Graboid to activate the effect 3 times per strike.

Or Graboid to activate the effect 3 times per strike. Yeah Anathema is a good candidate but it suffers from crowd-control effects. So you have to use him against low-cc decks. That's why Pit Dragon could have really shined in the past due to protection from cc plus no RTQs (and Alice in Wonderland).

First soul snatch sucks... cap at 2k attk?... it take 2-3 rounds to reach 2k... by then u are dead... putting sneak or bb8 is way better than soul snatch on amathema... good for some maps with fatigue/weakness like ash beast soul snatch but other than that just sac it for fooddie

I'm curious about Soul Snatch 8. How much Attack would the Creature gain in this scenario. Imagine I have Soul Snatch 8 Pit Dragon, and I play this in the Guild Map. My hero has Berserk and War Hungry. My first crit is Leo, and second crit is Pit Dragon. For simplicity, lets say when all the above proc, my Pit Dragon attack becomes 20,000. Would my Pit Dragon gain 8000 attack (being 20,000 x 40% = 8,000) or just gain 2,000 attack?

Soul snatch caps at 2k (meaning your current attack won't surpass 2k). It loses effect once you reach that limit (let's say you attack at 2100 attack, you won't gain any more attack).
Lord bones is really bad (unmelded) due to the fact that battleblow and soul snatch are a stupid overkill. If bb activates, you'll surpass the 2k attack, meaning your soul snatch has no effect and you're back to your base attack after your turn.
Example: a 1000 attack Lord bones activates bb8 (160%), dealing 2600 damage (>2000 cap) -> soul snatch doesn't do anything.
In conclusion: your pit dragon won't gain ANY attack.

I recently melded Soul Snatch 8 onto a Titania and a Phantom Liege (2 different accounts) and have been messing around with them (http://deckheroes.freeforums.net/thread/7595/carrier-snatch-phantom-liege-titania)
I believe this is how Soul Snatch's damage cap works. If the creature's attack is above 2,000 when it attacks, regardless of the source of any other attack boosts and whether they are temporary or not, then the creature will not gain any additional attack from Soul Snatch. I tried this today in a Berserk / War Hungry GM deck with Titania, she gained 0 attack damage from the attack and was left at the pitiful starting damage without any attack buffs after her attack.
Generally, I think the attack cap gain will leave the attack a little above 2k, so you should count on it like this, but I see some unintuitive stuff with it since I use this Soul Snatch Titania in gauntlet daily. I have commonly seen the attack damage leave her with attack over 2,000, like her new resting attack is ~2700, same with the PL. I am not sure what the conditions are to get it like that, it's not as simple as being right under the limit before the attack (e.g. 1.9k).
Hope that helps.

Cause I believe it is. Let's say you have 1900 attack with soul snatch10, you'll gain 950 attack (resulting in a new attack of 2850). Sometimes it conflicts with crit rate (equipment) though. In the example above (in case crit activates), you'll hit 3800, thus gaining 1900 attack (3800 = new).

I explicitly just experimented with it before I replied to the OP to make sure I was giving them accurate info, including putting it in a guild attack lineup. I suspected there was weird stuff related to Chainstrike when you attack under the cap and that is not it either, screenshots attached. She remained capped roughly above 2k.

Ok... so there are some faulties/exceptions. So what? Everything I said before is from previous experience (including the crit rate), so please don't try to assume I'm randomly assuming things.

Then this skill Soul Snatch is very bad. I thought the cap of 2,000 attack refers to the Attack before all the buffs (Beserk, Warhungry, Battleblow, etc).
