His skill can be potent when mixed with some tank/healers combo. Also Lifesap works well. As for 3☆ hero I believe patriarch is good from what I've read on some threads but never used him personally. Hope that helps. Also cool profile name

I have been using my chaos witch with undying. I don't like her talent though I hate hero hunting. I'm almost got Wight unlocked. My deck is chaos witch, thalassa, pit Dragon , Gorgon , death knight , great mystic , 2x pit Lord , pit priest , Hell knight and harbinger. It seems like I have a good deck but I get owned in raids and guild map I can't do over 3k damage before I die. I'm terrible at manually fighting I don't get how to use what skills together and what skills are even useful. I am level 50 and like 300 in my arena. I love this game I just wish I was good at it and understood it more. Any advice would be helpful

Guild maps 3 star heroes are only good for guild maps when the enemy only has 1-2 creatures left (maybe 3). If they only have this many creatures left then the best 3 star hero is poison ivy. She is much better than zora as she reflects back all the damage taken to the enemy, while if your creature to the far right was hit by a skill and its attacked increased it is useless with zora. If the enemy has a lot of creatures left, your best option is a neander hero with spikey bits.
Gauntlet Spikey bits from neander hero and balrog are extreamly important. You will face heavy magic decks, and a lot of double recycle, undying, rebirth and revive. balrog is very useful in getting one or more cards destroyed.
Explorers map Has to be neander with spikey bits, i have brute skill level 1 with spikey bits 8 and it makes fights on map 10 and 11 very easy to beat

Obviously if you can get a wight then problem solved. Obe if the best 4☆s.

There is nothing less true than 3* hero are only good in ggauntlet...
I've been trying to do 11-4 for weeks with diff hero/deck (d.hunter,Wight,Predator) and just couldn't. (Got close sometime but never enough)
Got it first try with balrog and it was lvl 1. It's good for exploring map.

Overall (all things equal and for every game mode, both PvP and PvE), my opinion is Poison Ivy. Despite owning all the other 3* heroes as well as Wight, Poison Ivy remained as my "main" deck hero all the way up to level 71, where I am now. In fact, I only just recently got Predator hero last night, so I'll start using him now; but Poison Ivy has blown me away with how far she's taken me. I've broken the top 100 in my Arena bracket, hovering around 120 Tournament points/hour and beaten the maps all the way up until 10-8 with Poison Ivy (except for 2 stages in 10 where I had to use Wight for the rebirth talent).
I honestly think her hero power is the strongest among the 3-stars, provided you can skill it up. I was able to reach 50% thorn reflect with mine (level 8 I think), which means half of all damage you take is dished back out to the attackers. That has the potential to do more damage to enemy creatures than any other 3* hero, even including a Neander with Spiky Bits. At 40-50% reflection, you're boosting your deck's damage output like crazy. Enemy battleblows might take out your card, but the attacker is often killed from the reflection damage as well. And remember, ALL damage gets reflected, including magic and direct.
I dunno; maybe I'm biased because she's been my main for so long, but I think the reason she was able to STAY as my main all this time is because of her potential at high skill levels. I had her up to Faen Life 9 and Agile 9; the extra life effectively means more reflected damage potential, while the Agile gives you a few early rounds of safe board presence in which to boost your cards' life even further with Elven Salve... My final Poison Ivy deck as of last night was around 7200 power rating, and included:
1x Thalassa 2x Hanuman 2x Ash Beast 2x Naga Mistress 1x Moon Guardian 1x Phoenix 1x Flame Brave
Naga Mistress and Flame Brave were evolved, albeit with useless 4th skills. Sometimes I'd alternate between a second Flame Brave, Cyclops, Serpent Queen or even Venom Tyrant. I still haven't succeeded in melding Recycle to a Horned Beast, otherwise I'd probably be using that instead of Thalassa.

waxpaper That's a scary Faen deck indeed. I can see a lot of players attacking you thinking it'll be an easy fight lol.

Im on board with poison ivy as the best 3*, i have now 4 4* heores and i still use her a lot including tournament fights. With the right deck her skill can kill the other guy pretty much on its own while ur crits keep healing themselves.
Patriarch is probably a close 2nd and i can see people liking him more because its a more flexible guy that doesnt require such faction dedicated decks to be good.
But with the right setup, nothing matches that sweet looking but deadly girl IMO.

Good call on the poison ivy. Legion is good with combo bless and bloodlust runes. One hero you can light up his skill every turn. Not quite wight, but good DMG. But from a pure strategy standpoint, the 4* cards are better in so many ways. I suppose maybe treant guides,, and ragers all with reflect melds would. Be a good fit for poison ivy. A half stack board would have all crits over 1500 life and 450-1200 life heal per turn with good rune use. Restore rune at 9 is 27%, heal amplifyIII is obtainable. And can be built to 30(5) to make the treant guide heal crazy. You can then turtle in and let the damage reflect...

On the thought of guild maps, with 3 or less cards, zora and capt crook are really the best. My setup is 5 cards: life sap paldin in front, followed by rager/Ursa with block8 for atk immune, then 2 oracles, no meld. Paldin just grows and grows and grows, while the tanks can stop almost all DMG, even a fafnir. Will auto after the card order is laid and usually get final hit or do up to 200k.
