Hey All,
Been lurking here since the start, finally decided to join up. I've been at a sticking point for the last few weeks and don't really know what direction to start building in.
My deck I have pretty much used for everything is this:
Hero: Wight -Death Curse 4 -Morti Aura 7 -Undying 8 -Toxic Mire 7
Creatures: Spirit Siren 10 Thalassa 10 Thalassa 10 Bloody Lord 10 Pit Lord 10 Cyclops 10 Pit Minion 15 (W/Assassinate 7) Manticore 15 (W/Dodge 5 also have one with BB8) Undying Will 10 Moon Guardian 10
I got as far as Rank 70 in the Arena, though I took some time off and now have not been able to get back up past 200. I have gotten to 55 in Trials as well, and have been stuck on 8-11 for months. It is time for some sort of a change.
Here's what I have to work with:
Relevant Heroes
Wight Balrog (57/75) Devil Hunter (48/75) Royal Guard
Morti Faen Human Neander
5* Spirit Siren Undying Will Thalassax2 Moon Queen Spider Queenx2
4* Cave Dragonx4 Bloody Lord Ghostly Judge Hell Knightx3 Harbingerx3 Pit Lordx3 Pit Priestx6 Valkyrie Satyr Sentry Master Guide Faen Mesmerx2 Pegasus Lordx2 Flame Bravex3 Faen Rampagerx3 Pale Dragonx3 Chimera Royal Dragon Griffi-Knight Oracle Techno-Chief Swordmasterx2 Royal Knight Paladinx2 Juggernautx2 Icy Mage Nean Raptorx3 Cyclops Mammoth Riderx3 Tauros Elderx3 Warband Chief Ursa Major Neander Giant Tauro General
3* Crap ton of most I think.
So, what should I start doing for a second deck? Or how can I improve my main deck?
Really looking forward to becoming a part of this community.
-Chewy

I think you should keep improving your Mortii deck. Start by melding pit priest with frost armor because you have enough copies to do that. Then buy few Mortii boosters to get enough copies to meld cave dragon, hell knight and pit lord with frost armor. Meld harbinger with instakill from cyclops. Finally change toxic mire to cripple. After that your main deck shoud look like this:
Wight (undying / cripple)
Spirit Siren Undying Will Thalassa Thalassa Cave Dragon (frost armor) Ghostly Judge / manticore (battleblow) Hell Knight (frost armor) Harbinger (instakill) Pit Lord (frost armor) Pit Priest (frost armor)

Time to start farming more Frost Ragers and hitting the chambers more now that I realized you can skip through them. Here's hoping the meld doesn't fail and I lose Cyclops haha.

If you're taking instakill from cyclops, he will only be sacrificed when it's a successful meld. Failed Melds kills off an apprentice.

Also think about venom tyrant.it synergizes well with undying/recycle and undying will.unseal it and replace with pit priest imho.its poison dmg is also buffed at last patch.

Was going to do something like frost armor, but then just got rid of all 4. Totally useless creature. Doesn't hit hard, 6 turn timer, no exciting skills, really no even average skills. Just a totally useless creature. Much rather have a 3* morti with dodge than a pit priest with frost armor. I'm guessing that if reflect actually worked like it was originally intended, then she'd be a decent creature. but it doesn't and she is not. The only thing a pit priest is good for is the facebook coupon

I lost 3 Royal dragons attempting a meld and then got a Pit Priest from Coupons. So I decided to whack them just in case igg was taking into account the number of 4* creatures on my account. Now I need to decide what to do with my Clerics...

You guys sound a bit elitist here. For f2p or low spenders all creatures that can be melded with frost armor will help progressing in game. They are good in guild maps which means more gold which again means better progression. She has blaze and restoration which are nice skills in guild map (just use zora for damage). Also she would be useful in tournament too. And because of 6 copies its guaranteed meld with gold only.

But i have so many crits to level, that theres no way i`m gona spend any essences on pit priests. Got lots of better options to use with frost armour, and even those i dont see myself being able to lv them all.

Especially for guild maps. Oracles, Sentry Angels, frost ragers, naga mistresses, horned beasts, graboid, etc. A Pit Priest with frost armor barely makes her playable. You can farm frost ragers at more than one a day and get a frost rager with bless 7 (preferably bless 10 if you farmed an oracle as well). Much more useful on guild maps then a frost armored pit priest. The mats alone to evolve the pit priest will cost you 260 energy. Then top that with the enhancement charge of a pit priest to go from 0 to 15. Then the gold for the meld tries. That's a significant amount of resources for an extremely limited creature. As a f2p player you need to set obtainable goals, have patience and put in the time to achieve them. For example, part of my guild deck goal was 2 Oracles with immunity 9. I am 19 oracle shards away from obtaining that after 2 months (seriously, did it have to go to 100% both times!). When that is done I will work on frost armor oracles to replace my sentry angels w/mass heal. I've been farming oracles since guilds came out. I'll be farming oracles for at least 4 more months. Patience and time.

My theory in passing it is simple, just using some creatures with Maisma + Tanks + Wights Death Curse + Bless. Its actually easy as like thinking of let Wight kill the opponents creatures. This just my experience and might be different from others. I'm stuck in that node for a month until I got Wight. Now another challenge is 9-11.

My $.02 You can beat 8-11 with some luck and a few centaur chiefs. Frost Rager isn't a bad idea because his frost armor goes a long way. Swordmasters are an even better choice. Definitely cripple and undying for your Wight although I wouldn't recommend many mortil for this particular level. 8-11 has practically 0 magic damage so frost armor is a really good choice.
Gauntlet is probably your best opportunity to improve. You can start building up some other 4* heroes and maybe even grab a few 5* creatures. I can give you advice on beating gauntlet if you're interested although it's much harder without a disposal creature.
Other advice: Save those gems for ultima chests Buy gems with tournament money Accumulate 1* heroes for gauntlet Farm Oracles Only meld on 2x expertise days Get a neander hero with spikey bits for map 9, preferably Berserker Farm first, then mazes Join a guild and develop an uber guild deck

EDIT: I was being stupid, Cyclops was in my deck so he doesn't show up.
