Hi all,
I am half way unsealing my 4th VT, and at the meantime kind of disappointed on my sac Twins. Therefore I probably will have 2 5* sac melds to decide. I am aware that nobody uses sac Pit Dragon in tourney 100 decks. But I am still not quite sure if Anathema is the only choice for my own situation. In my arena there is a guy using 2 sac Pit Dragons, I lose to him/her from time to time.
1. I'm not aiming high, currently around 500-600, and the highest I can ever dream for is top 300 for a second or 2. Therefore I doubt I can met many Alice. 2. Yes RQT is bad, but my sac Anathema gets locked down often, too. And, there are likely at most 2 RQTs in a deck, so PD should be able to do considerable DMG in average. 3. Repetitive sac proc-ing should help me gaining more rage. 4. Working on 2 different melds can be a little bit faster, I assume.
Please let me know if I am making wrong assumptions, or anything I missed.
Thanks, Singing

For medium deck, Sac Anthema, Sac Graboid is also very solid choice.

Pit Dragon can be easily removed, so I prefer BB8. And for F2P players, without a good guild, Pit Dragon and Anathema should be the only two 5* bullseye creatures which you can get easily.

You need to run anathema with warlock . He will then easily kill 2 or 3 cards

I say don't give up on Sac Twins, I am a big fan of them. Especially in that range of tournament, where VS is rampant, Twins under Requiem can still dish out damage which is cool. Sounds like this was your complaint with Sac Anathema, getting locked down. Base stats are definitely not as nice as Anathema's, but investing in putting strong runes on Twins definitely can make a noticeable difference on the final product, since the Sac increase takes those into account before the multiplier. From the common 5 * pool, I wouldn't put sacrifice on anything that doesn't have Immunity or Stoneskin, again, RQT's are rampant in tournament and that can be a big set back. If you do the gem skill essence altar enough, you would be more likely to be able to upgrade sac 8 > 9 on a 4 * creature too.
Anathema is probably my first choice from the 5* common pool. If you are really thinking about Pit Dragon though, I would suggest Titania over him. Ambush skill essence is fairly common, and the bonus Ambush damage is considered in the Sac increase, so leveling Ambush will give you a stronger Sac Titania even after Ambush wears off. Chainstrike rune makes her super bullseye too, which can be handy in the right matchups. There's always YOLO melds on rare crits too =D

Thank you all very much for your inputs! japoon , hmm, I guess I really need to go back and work on my praying, so far the only "rare" card I have is a Virgo. When you say "@ your level", you mean the tourney range, right? damn that explains why it is impossible for me to move upwards. chyj4747 moonshaker BlackTone OK so I get your point. I felt I knew all the reasonings but still had some hard time quantifying them. Nevertheless, apparently the match is more overwhelming than I thought. So a follow up question, I already have a BB8 Pit Dragon, and another few more copies, what would be the best choice for the next PD meld? Another BB8?

Neanders in general dish out lot of dmg but always get locked out hence they perform well with warlock.
I was running my neanders deck with sac anathema and rec 2 nidhog with warlock. Presently I am using vile SG. But sac anathema is still a great card,. With bulls eye rune he can one shot 3.5k HP crit. If you can get firestorm then with runes sneak anathema is as good as sac. But he may not last long due to low HP.

If you can get enough copies from guild maps, sac fafnir is pretty nice.

If you can get enough copies from guild maps, sac fafnir is pretty nice. I really dislike my sac fafnir. It gets destroyed immediately by KQ cause of the sweeping blow, and cant get through dodge unless you have a sweeping rune. Its been a big disappointment for me. Sac Anathema all the way.

Got all three sac pit, anethema, and twins - I rate them as Anethema > pit dragon > twins from my (~1000 tourney) level.
If you have BB8 Pit already, what about (s)revive? I have been considering this over BB8 as my second pit meld, but I havn't got enough fae shards yet.
Perhaps I shoudl look at my sac twins again with all the VSs around - I found it underwhelming after Anethema. I only run 2 sacs in tourney as I'm rune limited. Should I just replace my sac pit with BB8 and add sac twins - or is (s)revive going to work better for me as I currently have a single revive carrier: temp bloodletter for now. I made the (s)revive plans before a lucky mystic drop last month.
What level vitality/violence V runes do you need to make sac twins viable?

Roughly 2k atk and with protection, 4k hp. Her defensive counter attack is the thing that makes her shine. Back when I used her I saw her clear enemy boards on multiple occasions. Being in the particular tourney rank that you are, even sac Anathema feels like a wasted draw. Rank 400-500 needs multiple direct dmg for the most part in each deck and beyond that you need melds on some of them as well as the addition of aqua. Bladeshard has shifted tourney. What used to be top 100 is now top 200. 200 is now 300 etc.

I'm sliding up the ranking slowly at the mo, 1200-1500 felt much more competative than sub 1000 for some reason?
I've ran FA twins for quite a while, they are also super useful in a zerker GM deck. I actually dropped my 3rd Sac rune within half an hour of the last post, so I stuck some runes on her and slipped her back into a tourney deck. I'm far enough back that my experience with BS's BS is very limited, but I think Aqua hurts my decks the most (especially running a VS main deck). I've got KQ and FS for direct damage only, so roll on the next AB. I'm also RQT limited (only 1) so that doesn't help.
I never did a sac gradboid though, I picked Twins, then pit, then anethema for my 3 sacs as I unlocked them. Don't really want to get a 4th - 1 per tourney deck is enough, it too much to farm to just have 'options'. Saying that I'm hoping my sac twins gets a direct upgrade this weekend - see if meld no. 2 on cancer get 'lucky'
