I'd say only HB can be marginally useful, for a while.

I'd say only HB can be marginally useful, for a while. The utility of HB falls quite short in Guild Maps I think. Besides, I was looking for suitable candidates in my human and neander deck. Although Neanders probably aren't good healers. If I can swap an Oracle for an attacking card that heals as well, I would.

I use, in guild maps only: - An healing QT (to play berserker deck in already damaged maps with dangerous heroes) - An healing niddhog : brings both extra max HP to boars and healing
Otherwise, any support creature can make a decent healer : - pontiff, sentry angel, royal dragon - yggdryad, dream guide, satyr sentry - icy huntress, nean raptor (despite it's offensive look 2 of its talents are defensive)

If I can swap an Oracle for an attacking card that heals as well, I would. If you want to use it for GM, I'd just suggest you don't bother One rune will solve all your problems. Of course that's on top of a school of FA Oracles.

for Zerker GM I have been using Taurus Elder mass heal with high level block rune, its pretty damn good! So good I would say he outclasses FA panther in the deck. It does require slightly more careful placement than FAoracles or FA treant but much less than BWs. With a good rune he can even sit in front of Paladins!
mass heal Nidd would be good if your running a neander deck and have your rec/rev carriers sorted (Nidds too?)
Twins can be OK for rec in Nidd decks, can work with any utility skill really. Twins without FA is not recommended for GM though, its defence is too RNG to rely on.
For humans, oracle already does the job - seems pointless to try replacing it with a meld when you can meld the oracle to make it stronger instead.
As for Icey huntress and neon raptor, kinda feels like their defense is far too lacking to survive in GM long enough - you might as well use ET-BWs, or dodge BW against a full deck, unless the extra HP allows them to last long enough to get all your healers working. My guess is that it doesn't.
Mass heal QT is a nice extra for GM, if you are overflowing with QTs and have enough of the good melds - decent min/max effort. Should be fairly low priority on the GM meld list though.

Or a Zora deck, whichever works better. May be Mass Heal Royal Knight will work similarly in a human deck. Not sure whether Odin or Dragon Rider will be better.

Its only worth using in a zerker deck for the heal+earth totem combo. You would need to be utilising the block rune for royal knight, otherwise FA oracle is likely better.
Dragon rider for GM isn't useful and with odin you need atk builders to get any decent damage (and you already need more oracles for bless). An easy alternative would be sentry angel, or FA cleric. For me, why look past oracle for humans?
For zora, block rune isn't good since you want to take damage + you need alot of heals if your crits are not lifesapping. A bunch of them (and mass heal nidds) could work for a zora taurus deck though. You still might be better with a bunch of ET-BWs in that case, provided you can play enough of them together to keep each other alive.

Its atk shoots up really quickly.

Just to clarify my post : nidhogg and QT are the ONLY creatures I gave mass heal to for real. But the initial question was : who whould you give mass heal to ? So I tried to answer with this in mind. Tauros elder and Satyr Sentry could get mass heal too... Satyr in an all faen mass heal deck. Tauros with a nice block rune. Truth is : best healers already have mass heal. And they're known For faens : - Treent guide (the ultimate F2P mass healer, I use 3 melded with Sprite Link in some maps) - Horned beast (mine is melded with rage boost 9) - Treent Elder (just love this card. mine is I7 with restoration 7 and picking off 10. tough guy. will bring him to restoration 10) - Ash beast (map killer with bloodlust. did 1.8M damage with it in a predator mostly faen deck) - Naga Mistress (I7, but uses magic, so should be the only magic crit in your deck, else you might lose the benefit of your grizzli rage control) For humans : - oracle (well, so perfect, keep on farming them For neanders : - blood warlock (the usual earth totem one)

the problem with mortii crits is they just weren't made for this purpose. For GM decks, you'll need to remove all rebirth crits, since it's one unuseful skill in this context. Which leaves you with support creatures : Hell knight and Pit Lord. That's why they're barely played in GMs. My Mass Heal QT is the only mortii crit I play there.
About neanders, first of all, the usual strategy is to mix FA neanders and FA oracles/ET Blood warlocks to destroy GMs. As said before, Tauros Elder with block rune would work. But that's pretty all except for my mass heal nidhogg, a very solid support crit, that I play only in already damaged maps or with enough healers to help it survive.

3 star Faen, Treant Guide, best by far. 2x mass heal with level 10 heal rune = 40% damage increase Even if you level their skills abit they only have 900HP, treant elder has another 350 and oracle 800 HP, plus they can both learn frost armour to stay alive. You can make a neat deck out of some quite decent low star faen's early oin the game - but you can hardly say treant guides are actually useable in decks past the early game. Getting a decent dodge meld on them could be OK, maybe block is usable in some instances - but that isn't going to extend their usefulness too much. Already so many useful 4* faen mass healers that can be strong with good melds.

Harbringer would be Ok early, I'm not a fan of recHarb (I had one early/mid game) and you can put disposal elsewhere. Maybe a bunch of mass heal pit lords would be good together - but that might be a stretch

Treant guide is perfect, and you can meld dodge 6 or 8 from the faen 4 star Light Brave. You don't have to worry too much about it's hp... it's hopefully getting buffed by other cards/hero runes, vitality rune on it too. And it's other skill is Salve!!! Which you can upgrade as well for an extra 500 hp. I've done a few million damage easy (on accident) with treant guide. I'd suggest comboing treant guide with a creature that builds attack damage, like a bloodlust swordmaster. I had to stop using that deck because it was clearing too fast for my guild.

Super 5* cards and heroes make us forget that DH is at its core, a tribal card game. I'll just tell you a clue. What do you think you're having when you have 3 or 4 Sprite Link 7 Treant Guides on the board in a guild map. Just do the maths for healing, hp and attack. Add a few other nice faens, fa crits and drone if necessary.
You obtain a Predator deck that will consistantly do a ton of damage and ... not die. In maps with dangerous heroes where a berserker deck would be crushed, Grizzli rules.
Of course, there are exceptions like maps with too many disposes, or creatures reducing attack, or even Kitsune, in which I don't play my treents. In these maps, I play my immunity faens and humans.

Sure they can work, what do you use for damage in that setup though? I imagine that, like with blood worlocks, the order of play is important - as is placement. Should be a solid deck in damage-limited guilds I guess without much investment. I presume you still run 1 or 2 bless to sustain? Add in MD and some rage control and your left with little space of damage. I would have thought that running predator was to limit the need for bless - and so have more room for damage. Your deck seems to waste that opportunity by taking a bunch other support crits instead. I go Odin/Cap for curse maps and worlock for kitsune - that bleed is a giraffe. Immunity is good for disposal, but not for retreat. With zerker you get plenty of stoneskin to play with. It might be a tribal card game underneath, but it has so many mechanics piled on top of it that it gets mostly lost. Yes, you can make some decent decks using faction mechanics - but thise mechanics are jsut not as strong as a bunch of other mechanics in the game.

First of all, we re talking about guild maps and standard easy to farm creatures Secondly, berserker is the best damager hero. Then, we have the maps that destroy berserker decks. That's what we're talking about. My love of little faens lead me to build a strong GM deck with Predator and its built-in rage control. Contrarily to berserker it can be used in any map, and will never be ridiculous. Obviously, It sometimes needs to be tweaked : - bring FA stoneskin neanders against retreat - bring FA Oracles when too much voodoo - bring immunity faens and drone when too much magic My pool of creatures contains: - rage boost horned beast - 4 Sprite link treent guides - immunity treent elder - immunity Ash beast - bloodlust Ash beast - frost armor faen Mesmer - immunity Valkyrie - dragonlord - immunity pontiff - bloodlust swordmaster Bonus creatures: - fa Oracles - immunity Oracle - drone - immunity Michael - fa stoneskin neanders With the exception of Michael and Dragonlord, all these creatures are achievable by mid level accounts. My personal record with a mixed faens/human predator deck is 1.8M damage, record I could beat now that I have 2 rage boost 9 creatures ( pontiff and horned beast ) I'll post a video.

Obviously, It sometimes needs to be tweaked : - bring FA stoneskin neanders against retreat - bring FA Oracles when too much voodoo - bring immunity faens and drone when too much magic My pool of creatures contains: - rage boost horned beast - immunity pontiff - 4 Sprite link treent guides - immunity treent elder - immunity Ash beast - bloodlust Ash beast - frost armor faen Mesmer - immunity Valkyrie - dragonlord Bonus creatures: - fa Oracles - immunity Oracle - drone - immunity Michael - fa stoneskin neanders With the exception of Michael and Dragonlord, all these creatures are achievable by mid level accounts. My personal record with a mixed faens/human predator deck is 1.8M damage, record I could beat now that I have 2 rage boost 9 creatures ( pontiff and horned beast ) I'll post a video. That's absolutely mind blowing! And with a fean deck?? I struggle to get 1 M dmg, that too with a Zora set up.

Just one blesser needed I guess for this setup. The only damage stackers are the bloodlust ashbeast (bit more expensive than the SM variant) and the mesmer - could you go all in with her with bb8? I guess you really need the FA somewhere in the lineup, but woth all the HP and heals any card just needs to survive the placemant phase (I guess you play first 5 together)
Did you make immunity melds just for GM, or are they from other experiments?
FA centaur chiefs could be great too (or bb8/bloodrage for this setup). Naga mistress could do some work too.
New players can run a bless rager while working through to dragonlord.
Do you forego the healing rune so that more attask buffs proc each turn?
You could slip in a blood elf to see if she would push the damage up, but as many attack builders as you can muster (especially if you can get a bullseye one) will do more in the long run - or does the heal rune atk bonus only apply to base attack?
The immunity melds all feel out of place when you can run MD, might leave some room for good damage melds

Yes, its a nice build concept - I guess what threw me off the most was using predator -- which removes the need for so many support creatures -- and filling the deck with support creatures! You can certainly get this running before you could get a viable zerker deck. Imm melds are not so useful for new players though I guess you could get similar results running bloodlustSMs + unmelded oracles and patriach (upgrading to odin later), you also have paladin early for FA countering. I may try it out for funsies - not clearing a map each day is not the end of the world when it takes us 2 months to open map 6 again! Now we need someone to post their Mortii centered GM deck! Does Snitch work in GM? Maybe bless/mass heal pit lords and hell wolves (not much mass heal needed with fridged queen), hard to see a cheap usable deck that would do any damage at all.

A way might be to use Deathmort and use lots and lots of unholy pact creatures along with some healers and Blessers. The idea is to make sure that the puppet doesn't die. But I haven't tried it myself.
