Hi All,
First - apologies for the wall of text.
I Need advice on whether to try and progress through the 8-11 wall, or start to upgrade what I use as a map deck (which sometimes works, but mostly not...)
Right. I've made it to the first major wall. I have Wight, took forever to farm shards. I literally just got my final shard for a Patriarch. Also have a balrog, and a legion, plus some basic 2's (maw, captain, arcane witch, agni, defiler). i'd also like advice: berserker or dragonrider as my summon hero to work on?
None of my heroes are anything past 3 really (maybe one of the twos & possibly nightraider). Also, only wight has really ok skills - lvl 5 undying & cripple.
My main deck can usually push 4 spots in gauntlet, get to about 52 in trial, and I get crushed every 5 seconds regardless in tournament, so i don't bother. fighting 70+ at 52 as a f2p sucks hard.
Arena i'm usually ok up to about 250. But I need advice - do I start to switch from what i've used till now and really focus, or just motor along till I get more pieces?
I get lucky sometimes in maps (well, only once really, I average about 20k, sometimes up to 50. Highest was 200k I think).
I have no other heroes, and am short a minimum of 40 on every other hero. (as in, I have maybe 9 shards for ivy, fewer for other heroes).
I've been farming oracles as often as possible, which means I get one more in another day or two. Im also close to horned beast #2. I've got maybe 1k gems left after trying my luck on 2 packs, 2ultima chests, and that's about it.
As you can see, my luck is... well, s*** . everyone else seems to have multiple 5*'s and really good 4's. I seem to have a few decent guys, but very few good multiples, or i'm missing things for synergy.
Deck 1 is mostly the morti 5s with flame brave, horned beast, an oracle, the ragers and a flame mage on the end. It does ok.
Deck 2 is the guild deck - 3 oracles, 2 ragers, 2 swordmasters, 2 cave dragons and the flame brave (sometimes switched out for other things).
HELP.

That's it. I'm weeks away from a second thalassa, could get another spider queen in a week. maybe same for moon guard (but i'm reluctant to lose an oracle honestly).

Thanks again for any/all advice. I really enjoyed progressing through the explorer area, i'm sad to find they've really put specific build walls in place to stop progress. so unfair to those of us that lack the cards/heroes needed.
