Well, i have enough to meld something on it but i wonder what i should do...
damage skill ? Ou dodge ? Meteor 7 ? stinger 6 ?
so many options...
What do you think ?

well, not as good as flame brave but at least you can get them by the bucketful for melding unfortunately you can't meld FA or mass heal onto a 3*, so that is not an option.. maybe more magic dmg, like meteor? Or some direct dmg to add to the magic damage, like assasinate 7 from evil eye.. or sage advice wouldn't be bad, especially if you are going to have like 3 of them..

Assassinate 7 would be nice maybe, cause you can't block it.
Sage advice is also good but i think i'd like more damage so...
I'll try that on next meld day event.

Best route for flame mage is to make most out of the fire rune and meteor only targets 1 creature. So [D]pyre bomb is really good for him because at the end he is a 3* card and will die pretty soon, Nice entrance and nice exit suit him.

Agree with Ozzy, at level 89 I still use pyre bomb Flame mages in my raid and chambers 1-3 decks, works great with undying on chaos witch and a couple of mortii cards.

I have Assassinate 7 melded on my Flame Mage when I was still at my thirties-fourties (my second meld, the first one being the famous Block 8 Rager) and still have him nowadays for nostalgia. Early-mid level, the Assassin Flame Mage (A.F.M.) has a solid niche use - to effectively finish off priority targets that can bring so much trouble, otherwise (eg. Thalassa on his death bed sitting at under >200 HP, or more importantly, an annoying Horned Beast on exploration maps that just won't die).
I believe that adding a mixture of variety in your attacks during the early-mid game phase will really serve its purpose, and while Pyre Bomb is a very excellent meld, and a "synergy" skill, it is still a fact that what a Flame Mage will be doing is just a monotonous barrage of magic attacks, nothing more, nothing less. As tempting as Dodge 8 is (from Light Brave) I find A.F.M.'s Cloudburst enough to give it a sustained presence, anything to prolong his field presence is something that is already an act of "overestimating" the innate capabilities most 3-star creatures have (this is rather subjective and relative too). So why not take the path of dishing out more damage, or more field control instead?
TLDR: That being said, Flame Mage's utility is rather limited, and as you go on with the game you will eventually feel that his effectiveness in dishing out a good amount of magic damage is gradually losing out, and you will find yourself praying MORE to the momentum his Cloudburst gives to your field creatures, also wishing more and more that his Incinerate and Cloudburst pick the right priority targets (like Horned Beast), which you can only do if you will meld Assassinate skill on him. Otherwise, Pyre Bomb meld is useful for all-occasions, Chamber 1 sweep-up, and cool fire animations.

Depends on your level too Or the purpose you want the Flame Mage to fulfill. Do you just want him to be a supplemental magic damage dealer with a little crowd control bonus? Can you picture exactly what role will he do the moment you meld him the 4th skill, or what sort deck you will fit him in? Do you find your Flame Braves not enough for board-clearing, hence you need a more stronger version of melded Flame Mages? You like more damage, right? What kind of damage then? -burst -sustained -priority/un-blockable -D.O.T Same as Frost Rager, Flame Mage is also a bit flexible. Choose what role you have in mind, narrow it down further by contemplating on its possible secondary role, and last but not the least SEE IF IT CAN DO SOMETHING GOOD FOR THE TEAM (ALSO CALLED DECK/TEAM COMPOSITION). Good luck! Personally though, I'll only want you to choose between Pyre Bomb or Assassinate 8.

His purpose is to dish out maximum damage, with my one and only flame mage. Since he is a 3 star creature, i don't expect him to last for very long so support is not an option. My point is what damage would be best for him, more magic or unblockable maybe. Maybe it depends on the opponent deck also... I can't make my mind between pyre bomb and assassinate, i still think stinger is nice too ... Headache ....

Yes, after many thoughts, i think pyre bomb is the best option since it synergizes with his already equuipped fire rune. So pyre bomb is a skill of the wild efreet yes ?
