I really love my very hot and thorny Poison Ivy, but I need to move on as the enemy is getting rude to her, they keep on raping her as the game progresses. So I'm planning to get a 4* Faen hero, which do you think is better of the two?

It depends on few factors man: - If you are good at gauntlet - go with berserker - If you are good with Trials - go with Devil Hunter - If you are prodigy - go with both Then: - If you like Faen that much - don't look further - Otherwise, there are a bit better heroes that can help in a long run Read this forum - many answers will get answered here

I'm not really fixated to Faen factions. It's just that most of my powerful creatures are Faen, and I'm only level 31 at the moment and sticking with pure faction for a while for a better synergy.
My current deck:
Poison Ivy (Lvl3 Thorn, Lvl8 Faen Life, Lvl7 Agile)
5* Hanuman Lvl10 5* Mimir's Tree Lvl10 5* Ash Beast Lvl10 4* Flame Brave Lvl10 4* Pegasus Lord Lvl10 4* Horned Beast Lvl10 4* Centaur Chief Lvl10 3* Frost Rager Lvl15 (Maji Shield 6)
My only powerful other faction cards: Thalassa Terror Dragon 2x Sword Master Ursa Major
Btw, is it a good strategy if I replace my Lvl15 Frost Rager with Lvl10 Thalassa?

Atm, I don't have any problem with my creatures because they are nearly invincible because of Faen Life 8 and Agile 7 (especially Mimir's Tree, Horned Beast and Frost Rager) but Poison Ivy against Morti creatures that target hero's life. So I need to replace her with a tanky 4* Faen hero.

When going with a faen deck, usually curse decks are your main treat, or so i've found, usually your creatures don't die, but their low damage allows for curse decks to stay in play long enough to kill your hero. one quick solution is to farm 1 or 2 dream guides, they heal your hero and add att to your deck also

So that means it's not needed. My creatures are tanky (plus Faen life 8, Agile 7). This line up can kill Morti deck creatures a couple of times, but they keep sapping my hero's life.

I don't have any of them, so I'm not able to give a very good insight on that. from my battles against them, i'd say that the devil hunter is usually a thougher opponent, that lockup when health falls bellow 50% is a bit OP if you ask me, people do say that summoners are better though, but usually that contest his between dragon rider and berserker, so perhaps the predator case is different you should wait for someone that has actually some experience with both to reply though

I'm currently working on Devil Hunter for my Faen Deck. Overall, I feel he is stronger than predator since ~75% of the damage in this game is physical. If you have a couple Flame Braves and Devil Hunter skill leveled up a bit, the majority of decks out there can't touch you. With regards to hero health, maybe meld a Frost Rager with Bless 10, it will serve you well in guide map as well as the Gauntlet but once you have a Devil Hunter he won't take much damage and will have ~20-25% more HP than your Poison Ivy. It seems like you lucked out with some Faen 5* creatures so I'd for sure stick with that route, I'd consider farming up some Horned Beast to meld a recycle onto so you could be that 3rd opponent of mine in the Gauntlet that demolishes me, every day /cry.

In my opinion, Predator is good only after level 5, while Devil Hunter is useful throughout the entire game. However, at level 10, I think Predator is better than Devil Hunter simply because there's a risk that Devil Hunter's ability might only trigger on one enemy creature, while the Grizzly is much more reliable.

Good luck getting a 4* hero to lvl 10. I think I would take a lvl 5 predator over a lvl 5 devil hunter, but barely. Below lvl 5 I'll take the Devil Hunter

I have a Predator that I'm trying to get to Level 5 to attain the unstoppable heal on him. I've found him to be useful in Gauntlet but the damage output from Bowmaster is better. Where Predator comes into his own though is in Guild maps where he tanks the opposing hero tank damage like a master. It means I'm not having to use characters to heal Predator and instead focus on damage cards

I am enjoying my Devil Hunter ALOT. Especially on guild maps. As long as you do not damage enemy hero you lock down those high physical damage damage cards, and with proper placement your healers never get touched. This really allows you to get some good damage in. (Keep in mind this is after they have lost some HP, and the higher level hero, the less they have to lose to get locked down).

Devil Hunter is very cool if your focus is limiting phys dmg to your guys, but you can also add healing to counter damage. Predator is easily better than DH after Lv 5. The bear becomes a better tank than mimir, and heals faen even with lockdown, and if that wasn't overpowering enough, when the bear takes damage, the other hero loses rage. However, at LV10 both heroes will grape anyone. I think DH at lv 10 is something close to 90% entangle, and the grizzly heals 300 a turn and takes half dmg from all sources. Off-topic somewhat: If your primary issue currently is hero damage, get one or two bless melds in your deck and add the best hero vit rune you can muster. Then you can focus your farming on upping poison ivy's skill. I think it tops out at close to 60% right? Imagine a deck of that skill with 5 frost ragers, 3 treant guides, and 2 recycle guys and just "turtle in" and watch the reflect damage roll out...hmmmm

As much as I hate to promote the boring cookie cutter method, but your endgame should be Wight and something 5*
Forget DH and Preddy; Oceanus FTW. =)
