Hi all,
Just wondered what you thoughts are on Icy Mage Light Brave. I have held off from upgrading them as i could not see how best to utilise them. Anyone got any experience playing with them..

Shes a support card. Used for locking up cards for a turn.
Freeze is a pretty powerful ability, allowing her to deal damage while preventing the enemy from acting next turn.
If you need a support card in your deck, then she's great. If you already have support, or other creatures that lock up the enemy, then you can skip her.
If you run an all human deck, then you might want to have at least one of her.
EDIT: Did you add light brave to the question?!
You little trickster you!
Light brave is one of my faviorate Faen cards. He is a support/tank, and he can stand there and dodge lots of hits while preventing an enemy from attacking for a turn. His ability does not disallow the enemy from using their abilities... only from physically attacking. Still, he is hard to kill, and has a good Rebirth skill.
If you don't have many/any 5* Faen's, I would definitely put him in my deck, and make him one of my left-most cards in play (other than horned beast and Frost Rager)

I like Light Brave, but he's not amazing. I think Icy Mage doesn't really fit with human decks. I prefer Griffi Knight because it has humanity. Humanity makes a big difference with Swordmaster since it gives him 375 more damage.

Humanity makes a big difference with Swordmaster since it gives him 375 more damage. It's difficult to compare Icy Mage with Griffi Knight because Griffi Knight, although provides support, is sort of a "jack of all trades" card. He has one support skill, and one very good offensive skill. Icy mage is a pure disable creature. All her skills are dedicated to making you skip your next turn. It really depends on what you need to create synergy with the rest of your deck. A deck with no defensive ability (i.e. an icy mage) can get overrun in a long match. If you are all offensive and offensive support, you had better win in a short match. Otherwise you will eventually get overrun as all your attack boosting cards die. That is not to say Griffi Knight has no place in a human deck. He is definitely a great offensive/offensive support card.

Icy Mage pairs well with Royal Dancer. Humans are seriously lacking in status effects/debuffs. In a pure Human deck, Icy Mage can be valuable.
Light Brave is a decent evasion tank and is one of the few creatures with Rebirth 8+. Great card to Meld Recycle or Instakill on.

Icy Mage is meh, because of her very low stats.
That makes her flurry useless unless she has Frost Armor (Still not as good as Royal Dancer), and even if Frostbite is nice, it's her only really useful skill, the Tempest at entry isn't that good.

I agree with this. She's only really useful for Human decks.

Light Brave is imo actually a better option to put recycle on than Horned Beast. 60% dodge is great, and his hp is a lot better. Sure you miss the immunity, but I'd say 50% rebirth more than makes up for it. Bolt with 50% stun isnt that bad either, especially in one on one situations.

I agree mostly because I do not like Horned Beast, such crappy stats. If I want a tank that doesn't contribute to damage then I use Frost Rager + Block 7.

I've got two evolved Horned Beasts now waiting for dupes to Meld Recycle from my 2 Thalassas. The trick here is very important, you're not using Horned Beast as a tank role anymore at this point. Play him how you would play a Thalassa or an Oracle. I'm not as excited about this as I am the Sword Masters but I know for a fact this will work better than Thalassa by a mile and might have been what I should have focused on first. Horned beast's weakness is tankiness / raw HP from 8 and 9 and that's when you really start to feel that you can't count on him, but he's still doubly better than Thalassa, but he can't get locked down which is a HUGE problem for pretty much every creature with Recycle standard, plus he Mass Heal.

It's true that Recycle on Horned Beast is better than Thalassa. Without a skill like Recycle though, I hate Horned Beast. Bad News guys, you can no longer Meld "Recycle" from Thalassa-- it is a skill marked "not able to learn" now. I noticed this yesterday. What, wow, that blows. I haven't moved mine yet. What a serious disadvantage to those that have moved it already

Mine all have the description "Skill can be learned by 4 and 5 star creatures." I'm not going to waste the evolve/meld costs if this is in fact an error on IGG's part.

You can meld it on your Horned Beast. Mine is still recent (from last x2 event), so you shouldn't be worried about this.
