I have 4 swordmasters and id like to meld battleblow 8 on it. Should i try it now or wait for double meld day? Same goes for oracle but i only have two, so im kinda sure waiting is better.

100% wait. Don't give in to temptation and waste the cards you have.

Oracles you can farm, so you can risk them. Worst case, you just have to farm more.
Swordmasters, wait for x2 Meld day.

I usually go for one attempt outside of meld X2 cause either way takes 4 cards to get 100%

What I said was true, you may not agree with it but it's still the truth. Oracles can be farmed. I didn't wait for my Oracle Melds and they Melded at 0%, 60% and 100%. So in the end, it evened out.

Honestly, the best advice I can give in DH is to wait for meld events, especially for farmable cards. I have guildmates swimming in 20+ swordmasters who are struggling to meld farmable cards... melding a swordmaster isn't too big of a deal when you are loaded with them, but I doubt anyone is loaded up on oracles. In the long run you are just burning time, gold, and copies of cards by not waiting for events. You can meld 10 oracles and they can all be successful on their first attempt, this does not mean you made the correct decision. The only way a player can succeed in DH or any freeium game without spending like crazy is to try to put the odds in their favor as much as possible.

Also, patience is key. I will only recommend melding on 2x event days.
Think of it as having the time to plan out your melding strategy. Use the time in between meld events to save gold, gems, and to farm creatures.

This game is about patience and strategy. Unfortunately most playersare so keen on enlarging their e-peen that they don't think before they act. And ℜ★Xega, if you Melded 10 Oracles on the first try, you made the right decision.

If you put your life savings on 23 red on a roulette wheel and it hits, it does not mean you made a smart decision... it means you got lucky and got a positive result in spite of your actions Obviously DH is just a game but the idea is to put the odds in your favor as much as possible.

You are right, it's a game. So don't be so serious.
It's this thinking from high-level Guilds that is sucking the joy out of the game. I rather have fun.
And if I always played the odds, I would still have my Cyclops. I only had 3 Dullahans and got my Instakill Meld on the first try. Nothing's going to tell me I made a bad decision.
