Gotta admit, I don't see the value in a revive Cancer. She does not have stoneskin, dodge, or frost armor natually which means she gets one hit by Graboid and taken out in 2 hits by many creatures. Granted her block skill helps with damage reduction, but she is still squishy. Frost armor would be a good meld for her and she doesn't even come close to Fafnir as a revive carrier. Will post in a couple of hours about Sac Graboid vs. Anathema as I have both Short answer, I like Graboid better but Anathema certainly is a great alternate. I'm not quite sure I would call her Squishy - She's an improved version of Mimir's Tree basically, with higher HP, higher level Block/Immunity and replacing Battleblow with a hard-hitting direct damage ability, albeit a defensively triggered one. Unlike Mimir & Fafnir she's completely immune to Disposal and Instakill....along with any magic damage and lockdown for that matter. Admittedly, she does have a weakness to Ravage cards in much the same way that Mimirs has a weakness to Bane cards. It's actually less of a weakness but the popularity of Graboid does outweigh that fact in practice - The same goes for Fafnir though. Edit: Also, you mention she doesn't have Stoneskin but she has Immunity 10 which provides everything Stoneskin does.

She is a two shot from any strong attacker, and nowadays, everyone and their dog uses graboid. She's a one shot vs spider Queen or graboid.

Just for clarification a level 15 Graboid without Sacrifice can't even one shot a level 10 Cancer without other attack boosts. A level 15 Spider queen will...But who uses a level 15 Spider Queen? A level 10 Spider Queen won't. Obviously to carry Revive, Cancer will be level 15, where without further +attack modifier neither a level 15 Spider Queen nor Graboid will be one-shotting her. Level 10 Cancer has more HP than level 15 Fafnir. Fafnir will be one-shot by many more crits than Cancer will, most of the time - his Dodge is only 45% and avoids absolutely no damage the other 55% of the time. And let's not forget that a Bullseye crit will laugh at Fafnir's dodge, especially when runed. Bullseye does nothing versus Cancer. I'm not saying Cancer it outright better than Fafnir but she is FAR from squishy. She's better than Fafnir in some situations & worse in others - A rare case of balance in Deck Heroes, who'dathunkit?! lol

Anyone that had the wealth to have cards to do those godly melds would never do it that way when they would simply have a revive dragon lord.

True, I forgot that Immunity 10 equals stoneskin. However, IMO I still think that Fafnir is way way better of a revive carrier than Cancer would be. 45% dodge is better than it sounds, it essentially means he has two turns to get healed and everyone knows that Fafnir is tanky as hell in practice. There may not be many creatures that can 1 shot a Cancer by themselves, but put a sweeping blow beside them and its not that hard. I faced a few level 10 Cancers and 1 level 15 unmelded today in Gauntlet and they provided no difficulty whatsoever. The Rancor damage was mostly mitigated by my Oracle and certainly didn't cause much of a headache and they never lasted longer than 2 turns.
IMO, frost armor would allow her to stay on the field for many turns and really start to rack up damage. I would vastly prefer to see revive on her from an enemy than I would a revive Fafnir.
Not sure about the comment that Bulleye doesn't do anything to Cancer. Of course it does. I mean you don't need it, but it deals the same damage as usual.

The comment about Bullseye was because a Bullseye crit will have damage reduced by 250 vs Cancer. Against Fafnir it would negate Dodge and do up to 100% bonus of base damage, which should be a one hit kill...Which makes it tough to heal in 2 rounds.
The same with crits like the Spider Queen and Graboid - which I didn't bring up to start with - They will both one-shot Fafnir, when they do connect which is most of the time, making healing impossible.
100% Immunity to lockdown is kinda amazing for a Revive carrier too.
I'm not even trying to say Fafnir isn't an amazing option for melding Revive (or a lot of other options) or that he's easy to take down - that would be daft. But saying Cancer is squishy, either compared to him or at all, is just as bad IMO.

Dodge really is underrated. Sac graboid is really good until you hit the point where bullseye becomes way better than sweeping blow. Has anyone tried a sac prime?
