how long until you get wight? The reason i ask is to see whether levelling your chaos witch skill is worth it. I have undying 8 on her and that is pretty nice with morti heavy deck. Although every situation is different, I would add some defense capability to your deck for most situations. I would add oracle to heal your hero and swordmaster to keeps those heavy hitters at bay until you get your morti to activate undying.
Suggest for many (not all) situations...chaos witch with a high undying (unless you are close to wight then wait for him). Thalassa, phantom liege, gorgon, cyclops, titania, flame brave, swordmaster, harbinger, dullahan, and horned beast.
This gives you enough to cycle through some undying, some disposal, revival, damage boost, defense, and some heals for both the hero as well as your team.
Just my suggestions although I am not an expert in deck synergy.

currently i have about 52 shards voor Wight , so i think i can get him in 1 month time i guess.
Thanks for the info about defence and heal, i shall try if that works better in my deck. I am struggeling a lot in some of the mapparts. In general my current deck stands well in raids and mazes (which are not that differcult compare too some maps).

with the cards u have, if ur going for a faction specific deck, i would go with faen instead of mortii,
treant elder, horned beast, satyr sentry, dream guide, pegasus and both braves with a couple of frost ragers is nice, then throw ur best 5* in the mix and swap along depending on fights
but a generic deck like paulus mentioned seems like ur best option while u wait for wight

I just got my second Thalassa from seal. I play now with Chaos Witch (4 mortii life, 5 undying)
2 Thalassa, phantom liege, titania, harbinger, dullahan, cyclops, flame brave, gorgon and swordmaster.
This set up works great till now. today i climbed in the Arena to the 700th place from 884. I get all opponements from above 6000 and all have 4* heroes, while iam on 5850 with a 3* hero.
So i will try this deck for a few weeks further and wait till i get my 4* Wight.

I've used Mortii the whole way through with my main account (lvl65) and unfortunately they struggle after map 7. I run a Rebirth and recycle deck. Don't get me wrong, it's still competitive, but will struggle on your harder levels like 8-6/11/12. I'm up to 9-10 now and while my Mortii critters add to decks of other factions nicely, a deck full of em just doesn't seem to cut it. I'm sure it could but the amount of battles I've lost trying, suggests a change of tactic and faction may be a quicker and more successful way to go. Similar to what Somar said, they mix well with another faction though. I recently got wight and that helped heaps. I now also have a harbinger with instakill, just have to get him to level 15 but that looks at adding a nice new dimension to my deck. I still wanna use my Rebirth critters but I want to introduce some Fatigue in there as well and try that tactic but that's a little off. Faen as helped me through the hard levels with splashes of my Mortii strength to help. I've learnt to stay flexible With faction choices and tactics. I'm always open to ideas as well

I dont have a fully mortii deck but only mortii based. I have 6 mortii's on my deck! i play also with recycle and rebirth (2x Thalassa, cyclops and my Hero Chaos Witch who has undying 5) Iam currently on 8-5 but didnt try 8-6 with this deck yet, so after work i shall try how this works. luckely i have creatures enough too switch some in my main deck. When you play this deck well you can do lots of damage without even loose a creature in the beginning and the undying skill of Chaos Witch helps enormesly and is only active when you have 2 or more creatures from the mortii on play. The trick of playing with this deck is too bring in youre first Thalassa when Gorgon and Phantom Liege is on the table first then add Thalassa as a last creature (most on the left), when they are played Chaos With can release his first undying on them (most of the times he gets the Mortii cards who are in play. When these 3 strong cards can played 3 or more times in a game then you have a strong deck. The only problem is that youre Hero needs too survive.

I run an almost full mortii deck at times:
Balrog LV3: Undying 7 + Mortii Life 6 Gorgon Terror Dragon 2x Hell Knight 3x Cave Dragon Thalassa
+ 2 non-mortii exceptions (their just to good to be left behind and work very well with mortii) Balthazar Hippolyta
I also have Harbinger, Ghostly Judge, extra Hell Knight, Manticore on bench to swap every now and then.
For those crazy difficult dungeons it wont help u, but i've found that it works good in arena and raids (Except those crazy powerfull decks with 7k power)
Once i can get my hands on Wight i hope he can turn this setup more usefull.
I also have a 2nd Thalassa at LV0 and I'm still debating if i should level that or save that recycle to meld on Habinger (already have 4 copies, just need enough materials)
I would take a Cave dragon out for an extra Thalassa or that melded Harbinger.

Because of points previously mentioned, I normally run 6 mortii in my deck as well, seems to be a good mix. I also have the same problem in regards to my hero dying. When I lose, 9 times out of 10 it's due to the death of my hero, often with only a critter or two In my graveyard, if any sometimes. These decks your about to face (8-6 and on) they survive and really power up. So makes it hard to last but Interested to see how you go So envious of your gorgon AND liege! Nice man! A second Thalassa has got to help as well What's your "fill in faction" or is it a mixed quartet?

yeahh, Hero dying got to account for most of my losses as well, with all the recycle and rebirth it's hard to lose all creatures but usually their all in ur hand and deck a very few in play
if i could get my hands on a Phantom Liedge would be awesome for this deck as well

Phantom Liege would make any deck better, imo. It's an awesome card.
I feel that if I can get one more 5☆ mortii critter, that I don't already have, my FULL mortii deck should be possible and at point we're I'd be really happy. Instakill on Harbinger should add a nice zing as well.

Iam lucky enough too have Phantom Liege , in fact it was on my first 5x coupon draw. Phantom Liege is indeed a fantastic card especialy because he is differcult to defeat in a mortii based deck.

OK, here is my take on your situation. Wight is an awesome hero and you are well served to get it. I advise against using Mortil to get through maps. You will have a MUCH easier time using a Neander Hero with spikey bits 8 or higher. I recommend at least 6 Neander creatures (don't use Spider Queen because immunity messes things up) and preferably 7. I would keep Thalassa, Phantom Liege, and Gorgon as the three non-Neander.

I have a 3* taurus Hero, but he is still level 1 and i dont upgrade his abilities yet, this because i want too upgrade my Chaos Witch first. This morning i was lucky enough to get an Nidhogg from the coupon draw at the altar. I leveld him directly to 10 Now my Neander creatures are strong enough to try to run an Neander deck in map 8. Would be doable with Nidhog, cyclops, neander giant, ursa, ice huntress, thalassa, phantom liege, gorgon and titania. But then first i need to upgrade and set spikey bits on Tauro Brave
