I wasn't sure if this belonged here or in deck building, so any moderator reading - please correct if appropriate.
I would like to have a discussion I haven't really seen anywhere, namely the value of high immunity in guild decks. More specifically, whether immunity 7 for oracle, naga mistress etc are "good enough" against the majority of maps, maybe aided by some stoneskin creatures against heavy retreat, or if immunity 9 makes a big difference, especially for the more difficult ones (my guild is currently midway in guild map 5, so I don't know what nr6 might hold)?
The reason for this question is partly because immunity 9 is a somewhat rare skill - realistically you unseal three or possibly four spider queens, and then use up abaddons. Considering that there are so many cards that benefit greatly from I9, and that abaddons themselves are a desirable target for melds, I'm wondering if I9 on creatures for guild maps make such a big difference that it warrants using up such a rare skill, on a creature that might not get used much outside of guild maps?
Maybe the answer would vary with the players goals - do you want to do millions of damage in guild maps, or limit it to 100k so more players get coins? It might also depend on if you want to auto maps, or if you don't mind some minutes of manual play to set it up well.
Hopefully some experienced players can provide insight into this, and I thank you in advance.

I would say the main question is:
Do u need to deal 2M+ dmg consistently or is doing 100k enough?
That's what u should base ur decision upon.
If u need consistent top dmg then I9 will deffinetly be needed with oracles being one of the main targets
For the 100k mark I7 is more than enough.
Still I would say having an Oracle with I9 for general fighting isn't bad, although giving the availability some other crit would be better served with that.

I've been thinking about this lately and I'm just going to settle for I7 on Oracles. I do have an I9 Naga but she's a shoe-in for my main deck too, I barely use Oracles outside of Guild Maps.

Why waste a Immunity 7 on her while you'd only need two Oracles with Immunity 9? Immunity 9 is also usefull outside Guild Maps, Guild Wars for example.
With Meld Event you'll need a total of 6 Oracles if you're unlucky. 5 Duplicates and one Apprentice. So when you want to make two Oracles with Immunity 7 first and then maybe two with Immunity 9 for something else. Then you'll need to use a total of 24 if you're unlucky. That's a lot of Energy.

If you put I7 on 2 Oracles why would you then put I9 on two more? The whole point of I7 is so that you don't "waste" I9, seeing as I7 is easy to get and I9 isn't.
Honestly I'm just going to make one I7 Oracle and call it a day I think, I'm pretty sick of Oracles now and that will be more than enough for my needs.

If I may ask, how many do you currently have, and melded with what? Can you do 100k+ damage on guild maps 5 & 6? I'm still indecisive, but looking at some of the harder stages of map 5, with multiple retreat and lockdown, I9 is beginning to look appealing.

I honestly couldn't tell you if I can reach 100k with my Wight deck on maps 5+6, I'm in a fairly new sister guild that is only on map 4. My Wight deck has only been used 3 times on Guild Maps I think, managing 2.2m on map 4, so I'm really not an expert on it. I can do over 100k on all maps with my Predator Deck, although that particular setup caps around 850k damage for me. That's one of the reason's I've never really bothered with a high damage Wight deck - It's hardly ever necessary or wanted to hit millions of damage...Unless you really want to compare e-peens.

Ok, sounds almost like the situation I'm in, though I rarely reach 100k on harder maps - I'm keeping my power level low for gauntlet, which limits my options for other parts of the game.
I'm about to acquire predator soon, and I hadn't actually thought about using it for guild maps, but once it reaches lv5 it seems obvious. Can you be kind to quickly list a typical setup you use?

Ok, then it's not much use to me - thanks anyway I'll experiment with predator once I have it up a few levels.
