So this just happened.. Pulled my 5th Gorgon and... its the only disposal I have ever pulled! No Hanumans no Balthazars no nothing. Weird.
I'm using a few in my main deck:
Gorgon lvl 15 (sneak 1, curse rune 8) Gorgon lvl 15 (gas cloud 1, curse rune 7) Gorgon lvl 10 (curse rune 7) Gorgon lvl 10 (curse rune 7) Hippolyta lvl 15 (sneak 1) Nidhogg lvl 15 (immunity 1) Revenant lvl 10 (deception rune 8) Horned Beast lvl 15 (recycle 1) Harbringer lvl 15 (instakill) Graboid lvl 15 (sacrifice 8, rune 5)
As you can see I got a nice bit of lockdown going on. Can throw in a runed spirit siren too if I need to.
So, now would be an acceptable time to meld the 5th one away? I have an evolved lvl 15 Royal dragon waiting for a disposal. But it would probably replace one of the 4 Gorgons anyway..
What do what do?

Gorgon is good and all, but it slows down the deck a lot and is disposal bait itself. 2 might be a max to run mixed with Spirit Sirens to slow down the enemy (seals) and for its rebirth. I see you have quite a few 6 turn cards. Once you start to see more immunity cards Gorgons value quickly diminishes.
Anyhow back to your question it may be good to meld it away maybe the next meld event? You can also gain Hanuman from Guild maps if you want to go that route.

Thanks, I guess I'll go with the the dragon (even though it is boring and lame) . Got a Twins at 100% for frost armor 7 so next one might get disposal too! I don't think cyclops is worth running after a certain point with its 6-timer and meh stats.

Disposal cyclops is still very strong if you can manage the meld, combine it with disposal hellwolfs and in a revive/recycle deck will destroy decks without enough stoneskin and Immunity

Disposal and instakill aren't too valuable anymore at higher ranks, you tend to find a lot of stoneskin and Immunity.

I have to admit II don't feel like I'm ready for that kind of play yet though. I didn't manage to get any revives and I'm far from being able to start melding 5-stars. All f2p btw, didn't mention that yet.

If I had that many Gorgons, I would totally do an Immunity 9 meld. Then again, I'm currently on a kick where I want to have every card in my deck with Immunity 8 minimum. LOL.

That's a really good point. An i9 Gorgon is a very valuable add on. You're rolling the dice on burning all 4 spares to get it though. If I were you I'd do it. Death attacks are becoming passe.the lockdown is a great skill, and i9 makes her almost immune to death and lockdown against you. An alternative consideration is to meld a disposal or two, and consider meldk g away the delay3 to better 4* crits

Partly agree. But against an immu heavy deck the lock down wouldn't be very reliable either..

Gorgon is most useful for curse and delay combo- don't underestimate how strong curse is in the current meta. If your Gorgon is last on the field (common with a 6 turn timer) that curse will do a very solid job of keeping the hero ability from triggering for a turn or two- absolutely crucial to get board control.
Disposal is a nice bonus at the top level, but if it doesn't trigger- it's not a big deal.

Partly agree. But against an immu heavy deck the lock down wouldn't be very reliable either.. With you on that, but immunity won't be a problem for mid level players for some time still. Eventually though, everything with have i9 or i10 melds because that really is the best. Meld. Period. And that's when I know the game has jumped the shark and its quitting time.
