Today found this deck in tournament: All cards melded with detonate and runed. Found it interesting to share here and debate the idea. At a 1st sight it doesn't look that much but it actually has an interesting potential. Very interesting approach that at the very least is different from the regular stuff. It surely doesn't hold up for late game play but I can see it being very effective in some specific situations.

I actually encountered something similar recently too, but chose not to fight it - looks very good on paper (like a undying/rebirth-[D]-instakill cycle)! Might be the new low power farming replacement for older hero kill decks?

This is almost my deck for gauntlet (1-10 lvl), except I choose Balrog as Hero (and don't have full deck, Bone Mage can't be farmed). Add a 5* sorcery rune, chaos ensues.
Quite fun I must say.

I now regret having fed away all my Bone Mages... Time to start collecting them!

I now regret having fed away all my Bone Mages... Time to start collecting them! well. It's a bit of an expensive deck to build. I'm not sure how much the cost vs effectiveness makes it actually worth considering the materials needed. But there are worst choices to he made for sure.

Before Mine, I'd say that energy wasn't a problem, allowing my left over on funny meld (3*) like that one. Now, with Mine taking 200 energy, it'll be more difficult to dedicate resources to him. I'd like a feature with low power deck only (1,2 and 3* creatures), rewarding that kind of deck.

I actually use something like this, but I use 10 Wild Efreets instead. Melded some with meteor, some with wild pyre 4 etc. In my opinion efreets are easier to get, since they keep on coming from draws/mazes.. Using balrog with Undying 8, it makes Gauntlet actually little easier. 10 suicide bombers helps getting some of those nasty recycling Horned Beasts down.

But here I have to give the advantage to the bone mages. They have a high rebirth. Couple that with detonate and undying and it will be almost impossible to keep the 1st wave in the graveyard. Then there's the timer. Being a 2 timer is really awesome here. Comes in play right after draw which makes for a better chance of triggering undying on multiple crits. They can swarm the field in no time.

Very interesting, thanks for sharing Somar. I do really like the non-cookie cutter decks. That might be a pretty viable heist deck with the proper runes. It would have a lower power, since it uses three stars, and definitely has destructive potential. At the very least, would be really fun to watch whenever it works out!

But in Gauntlet i'd dare to say that rebirth can be a double edged sword. Especially with recycling beasts or swordmasters. While bonemages keep on dying and rebirthing, enemy has plenty of time to recycle all dead mobs. I prefer wild efreet for suicide bombing, this way the battle will be short and surely take atleast 1-2 enemy cards with them. Otherwise it's true that bonemage is superior

What do you think about double sacrifice indeck? I find it really cool, especially when these both are coming early to the fight.

With the rune 2 Sac crits is viable.
Although they can still kill each other or worse kill ur recyclers.
