So, recently I've been getting this Hero with dark clone on trials (LV50 i believe, but will confirm this latter)
After that LV45 1st turn dragon (which i can beat about 90% of times now) this is my new nightmare.
Strategies against this %&$#@ are appreciated, since I'm yet to beat it once.
If i go with powerfull cards the clones kick my sweet A** to the curb. If i go with lesser creatures to avoid those nasty clones the remaining deck is too powerfull for me. Really no idea what to do.

I've been blasting that Dragon lately but then the Dark Clone gets me stuck 4/5 days also. You need a lot of luck unfortunately, you need a couple cards that won't murder you if they get Cloned. I use a Frost Rager with Block 7 and Faen Marksman with Meteor 7 that, if Cloned, don't punish me. Those are the only times I beat it.

I thought about going with some 3 and 4* faen with heavy synergies. if they clone 1 the synergies wont do anything and the clone itself should be manageble, but still i cant beat it.
The deck is not always the same too (the same happened with dragon) which makes things a lot worse since ur previous battle experienece will not be that usefull.
BTW which actual hero comes with dark clone? This seems like a powerfull skill to have.
Just imagine if u clone a Venom Tyrant? that thing will have what 7K HP and 2.5K att?

Let me post our conversation with Zachs from yesterday in another thread (when talking about Armgaeddon a little bit): Me: Once 5* heroes become widespread, I guess people will start putting in their decks at least one evolved high-cost bad creature - so Armageddon's talent will be pretty much useless At least I use this method in Trials against high-level Cloning heroes ;-) Zachs: That's not actually practical, one bad creature could lose you ranks etc, besides, Armageddon resurrects ALL your opponents dead creatures (per skill trigger/ one each) in descending cost, when they're killed they're removed from play. Me: Well it's not actually a bad creature per se, for example an evolved Oracle costs more than most un-evolved 5 star creatures - so my little Oracle gets cloned which doesn't help the enemy much compared if it would clone my Gorgon/Thalassa/Undying Will/etc. Armageddon will resurrect only one creature per hero ultimate, by the time the 2nd is coming the battle should be decided anyway. As you can see that's what I used to beat these cloning heroes in Trials - works pretty well for me. Hope it helps.

I thought about finding the most awful 14 cost 4* in the game and evolving, but I dunno if it's worth the mats and money. I have an evolved lvl 10 Oracle that does the trick for now.

An awful 4* is Icy Mage.
The deck changes eveytime, but you can check it with battle report to know what you wil face

Icy mage is not a good choice. Her entry proc WILL proc, then her normal spell might. Also her he will punish basic attacks unless you have a spider queen.
Oracle is the way to go. What I've been using for a few weeks now, and I just evolved mines earlier today because I was tired of clone destroying me. It works, but the rest of the deck is hell.
I try to position sword master so that when the Clone copies my phantom liege, sword master eats the damage.
A deck with enough tanks (sword master), and non tank cost choices works well. I let the Ai clone blood letter once. Long as a tank is there, she's manageable. Creatures like flame brave is a bad idea.

I use my main deck which is really strong but the trick is to let the computer go fisrt. I wait til it plays 3 to 4 creatures then I wipe them out. After that you have more creatures out and u kill the cloned hero

I usually blast through the clone heros as my deck is morti with rebirth and its sufficient to deal with my clones. I have 2 summons that has add HP to the same faction, so it doesn't usually benefit my opponent that much. I believe a deck with atleast a few rebirths are required to pass these with ease, or creatures that die easily.
My deck: Wight 2x hell knight, manticores, pit minions, dullahan, 2x thalassa, death knight, pit priest, cyclops
