Hello everyone,
I've been playing for about 3 weeks now, I'm lvl 43 and i use about 400+ energy everyday. I've played and had success in other card games (Marvel War of Heroes). It might be because i'm still in the beginning stages but i'm find it difficult to have a competitive mono-faction deck without buying lots of gems. My Current Deck is: Hero - Dragon Rider (lvl 3) Creatures - Undying Will (lvl 10), Flame Brave (lvl 10), Pit Lord (lvl 10), Royal Knight (lvl 10), Thalassa (lvl 10), Seraph (lvl 10), Pit Priest (lvl 10), Griffi-Knight (lvl 10), Flame Mage (lvl 10), Cleric (lvl 10)
Other Heroes - Defiler (lvl 3), Elder Mawrek (lvl 3), Agni (lvl 3), Nightraider (lvl 1), Necrolorde (lvl 2)
Other Creatures - Cave Dragon (0), Hell Knight (0), Nean Raptor (0), Neamazon (9), Ursa Major (10), Neander Giant (0), Howling King (5), Horned Beast (0), Royal Knight x2 (5,0), Colossus (0), Juggernaut (0), and most every 3 star
My strategy so far has been to clear all my dailies, save gems until i have 675 and buying 5x creatures, then spending all excess energy clearing every maze and using leftover energy on the mine to farm a a Mythril Drone (4/50). I'm currently 27/30 on my oracle and RNG is killing me. I also have been buying shards for Deathmort (13/75) and Wight (14/75) whenever they become available in the bazaar. Should i be doing something different or attempt to farm a specific hero to match the creatures i currently have? I'm open to suggestions!

U should got for 5* hero in mines... A 5* hero is way better than a mythril... Because only in mines u can get it because it will be long before u can be competitive in tourney to farm other 5* heroes

My goal with farming both deathmort and wight was to hopefully have get one faster than the other but now i will just focus on wight. Are mines worth my energy if Thor costs so much and will take me a few months to get? or would i be better off exploring and clearing more areas in explorers gate, currently at 7.6

You can focus on 2 different 4* Heroes at the same time. 4 of the heroes are in the Credits Mall (Trials) and 4 are in the Token Mall (Gauntlet).
- Credits Mall: Wight, Paw Master, Royal Guard, & Devil Hunter
- Token Mall: Berserker, Dragon Rider, Predator, & Deathmort (aka Summoner Heroes)
And then all 8 are rotated through the Guild Mall. I would focus on Wight from Credits and probably also save Guild credits for him as well until he is at least Lvl 6+. Then you will also want to pick one of the Summoner Heroes to focus on. Deathmort was my first 4* Hero that I got (having faced the Puppet in Trials, I thought it was cool), however, I now only use him in Guild Battles and Gauntlet when my other heroes are already used (he is currently 6 or 7 in line and keeps moving down). I wish I had focused on my Berserker earlier.
Most people would recommend to focus on Berserker or Dragon Rider as your first Summoner. Berserker starts to be very good at Lvl 5+. Several players feel Dragon Rider is only really good once he gets to about Lvl 7 or 8+. Pick one and focus on leveling him. If you choose to go Berserker, use all your glory to get his talent Spiky Bits up to 7+.
Depending on how consistently you are getting max gold on Guild Map attempts, I would focus on getting Mythril Drone first, then a 5* Hero. 5* Heroes can be great and really improve a deck, but most of them still require great cards (high end melded 4*'s and melded 5*'s) to be amazing. Plus it is the gold from Guild that will be the most beneficial to you at this point to upgrade your cards and meld them. Get a great Guild Map deck and you will never worry about gold again.
For energy use, I would focus on farming Horned Beast and Oracle everyday. You will eventually want to meld at least 1 Recycle Horned Beast from Thalassa (trust me you will!). I would also focus on getting a second Thalassa; having 2 recyclers in your main deck makes a HUGE difference. Several debates have arisen as to where to meld that one (Horned Beast, Harbinger, Light Brave, Swordmaster), search these forums and make the choice that fits you.
Edit: For energy mine, I go to the 2nd Chest everyday and when I have extra energy after my farming/challenges/Explorerers Gate, I will go farther. With the gem mine, I go to the 1st chest on the lesser cost one only. It costs 100 gems to do that and I'm not Star so I only do it when I have enough gems. You'll never have enough energy for everything, just focus on what you think is important and do that. Or just do what makes the game fun for you.
Hope this helped you.

This has been very insightful dhinstructables! As for the mazes, do you ignore them? I only farm them for the essences.

I make sure to do the Highest level one that I have opened everyday (currently that is Maze 9) and if I am trying to level up cards, then I will do the 2nd Highest. Before I was getting a good amount of gold from Guild Maps, I would sometimes do 3 or even 4 to get the gold and essence at the end. But IMO I certainly wouldn't miss farming HB or Oracles for mazes.

This is very helpful for myself as well. I have just started playing as well, and just curious about one thing you mentioned. You said to farm Horned Beast and Oracle everyday using your energy, how exactly do i go about doing this?

Throw the deathmort. He is the worst summoner hero, maybe the worst of all.
Dragon rider has much potential, focus levelling it and ofcourse get your Wight.
Skip obtaining mythril or any other creature, focus on 5* hero. Prob. Oceanus or Spirt Arbiter.
Save your gems for alchemy and the boosters always, dont waste them on 5x altar draws or for energy.

You said to farm Horned Beast and Oracle everyday using your energy, how exactly do i go about doing this? Map 5 dungeon for HB, map 6 dungeon for oracle farming. Once you beat any dungeon on easy mode ,you'll be able to explore it for creature shards.
