I want to make a good human deck now that I finally got a dragon rider. However , ever human booster pull netted me pretty much nothing outside like 5 sword masters. Any suggestions on cards to work on or aim for realistically? Here's my current made deck. Thank you .

Try to get a few Oracles, Sentry Angel... and then work on meld a few of those creatures that you have!
BB8 Swordmaster FA Technochief FA Oracle I7/9 Sentry Angel

Frost Armor Paladins are kind of cool. Frost Armor Oracles would be huge. I'd probably still meld the recycle on a Horned Beast. Did you do the first 5x gem draw for the guaranteed 5* yet?

what other 5 stars you have?
Man, I wish I had many Swordmasters! I only got 2. I want to meld mine with Soul Swap. Dont know why ppl dont consider it. Cause it's magic attack. If SM is paralyzed she can still use it. The higher skill lvl - the more she'll be able to heal up to 300 hp. My lvl 6 rune drains about 70-100 attack off the strong enemy on my harbinger and we both know how weak SMs attack is. My harbinger made to 1000 attack once but he doesnt have SM's survivability. Of course as always there are cons such as reflect magic or spiky bits, immunity etc. But at least SM wont be limited to just physical attacks. I have 2 oracles so it's usually a long round for me. Yeat get 2 Oracles, your deck will last longer
Flame mage sucks, flame brave is stronger. Ill be adding Royal dancer when I get a lvl so I will have some status creatures to maximize her sneak ability

also dont dismiss good runes. magi shield and frost armor runes arent that hard to get. at lvl 5 they deal 100 dmg to the enemy in front of your SM so even when shes frozen or paralyzed she'll still be chopping off pieces of her opponent. Gratz on getting Dragon rider, im getting mine on sunday. Im lvl 49 so learning myself

Get another thalassa and start melding your creatures. Humans are generally good at mitigating damage physically. They have good human healers like oracles and grandmage so i suggest that you get a melded oracle soon. Thalassa level 10 would be a beginners choice but eventually, you must meld the recycle to a horned beast.
if you want to keep your creatures, there are melds that are good for them. Swormasters are still good at high end levels and she is a good candidate for damage increase skills like bloodrage, bloodlust, and battleblow.
Royal dragons are usually melded with disposal but if you don't have any, instakill would still be an 'okay' meld for early to mid game but are usually dropped at a later stages.
your only problem would be a FA heavy decks.
Your griffi knight wouldn't help mucch since there are just two casters in the deck. Having multiples of him would be great, but be careful with neander spikey bits.
Flame mage is easy to obtain and easy to meld, try out FA for survivability, detonate for a chance of revive with damage.
Eventually your 4* and 3* creatures would soon have no more place in the deck since in later games, your will obtain 5 star creatures that could help you a lot. but the royal dragons and swordmasters could still play a major role in later games.
Good luck!

Your first goal should be collecting more copies then meld meld meld! You definitely need 1 more Thalassa even if you pull a Mystic from Human Boosters. I played Human Deck in my early stages and have some melds for human cards: - Disposal Royal Dragon - Just great definitely do this if you have a disposal - FA Oracle - King (or Queen) of the early game, basically fits every human deck and is just great - Immunity 7/9 Oracle - FA outshines immunity in the early to mid game but later Immunity is better - Bloodlust 7 Swordmaster - Great for guild maps mediocre in Arena deck - BB8 Swordmaster - I was dissapointed in this meld really. Despite a few cases I had no use for this creature. (Most opponents running Wight in the early stages and with cripple this card is doomed) - Lifesap 7 Techno-Chief - A bit better than the previous one but without Lifesap rune i wouldn't go for this meld - FA Seraph - Good in early game Arena and guild maps, no other use - FA Paladin - Good in guild maps and in early to mid game arena - BB8 Paladin - I still have it in my deck, It's a really good one-shotter - Recycle 1 Swordmaster - This was my first meld and it works quite well (probably even better than Horned Beast) in a human buff deck Honorable mention: - Stabthrough Border Ranger - really good and game changer for some explorer's gate maps Other suggestion: Don't waste materials on Griffi-Knight, Juggernaut, Cleric. Simply there is no meld that makes them useful enough to use in the late game. (Maybe for Griffi-Knight you can build a deck, but I wouldn't bother with it) Just my 2 cents... There are other melds that I haven't listed and this is because I don't have them. Probably Immunity Sentry Angel still worth a mention because that card just never dies...

Even later I think FA Oracle is better than Immunity.

My human deck still sees daily use, albeit with Judgement, for Grimoire and gauntlet. FA/Immune Oracles are never going to go to waste. I have stabthru sword masters and techno's, cleared all maps including no.14 with those bad boys, and again they still see daily use on different features.

Guaranteed 5* haven't seen or heard anything about that. I'm really confused on melding, do I have to get 2 copies of a card ascended to the capability of 15 and then a card I want to trash to get a certain skill from it to put on my chosen card ?

You need 1 upgraded lvl10 (can be level10-15), 1 any level (0-15) as apprentice and 1 card on any level as the master (with the skill you want to meld). But success is not guaranteed so probably you will need multiple apprentices to succeed on a meld. It is suggested to do your melds on double meld day.

But success is not guaranteed so probably you will need multiple apprentices to succeed on a meld. It is suggested to do your melds on double meld day. For instance if you want to make a Frost Armor Paladin you need 1 evolved Paladin between level 10-15, 1 regular Paladin to sacrifice and 1 Frost Armor creature (Frost Rager/Sentry Angel). If your meld attempt succeeds, you will lose both the regular Paladin and the Frost Armor creature, and your evolved Paladin will get Frost Armor as its fourth skill. If the meld attempt fails, you will only lose your regular Paladin, and you will gain 15% (or 30% during meld events) meld experience. After this you will have to try again with your evolved Paladin, your Frost Armor creature and a new Paladin because the previous one disappeared. Once your meld experience reaches 100%, the next meld attempt will always succeed.

Do you generally fail the first few attempts on meld day? I have a bunch of sword masters which I hear are tits to have and to meld. Just got another anthemia so now I have two. Is he good to get melded onto ? Or does he have a skill I should save for someone ?

Swordmaster is one of the most versatile cards. You can meld almost everything on her.
Use her only as a host though, dont meld her base skills sway.

I generally have to get to 100% expertise before i can meld a skill, 1st timers are rare. I only meld on x2 day to keep cost and copies to a minimum, but even so still need a total of 5 copies of a critter to guarantee a meld. So from the 5 copies, 1 is enhanced and evolved. Then the other 4 will go as follows;
1 x gem attempt and 2 x gold attempts = 45% + 30% +30% = 100% expertise(yes it is 105%, but 100 is the max) 1 more gold attempt = meld success
Sometimes, rarely, it will go 1st time which is a massive bonus and saves alot of copies and gold.
Keep your anathema's as they love sac and FA.
