Ok,Horned Beast is on of the best cards in the game so evolving seems like a must. but the 4th skill for him is kind of hard to decide. should I go for Frost Armor to make him almost invincible or put something like Frostbite to make more verstile ??
what do you think ?

I am ft2 so I am using him for recycle from my first thalassa. That seems to be the most common meld for him I have seen.
I am not one of the smart players who figures stuff out, I imitate lol. A lot better folks here can give you better advice like Dianatroy, and stargater07 just to name two off the top of my head.

You can't go wrong with recycle or frost armor.

What does the rest of you deck consist of? Many top end players are going with rebirth/stoneskin for their recycles so they last longer. If you are a buffing faen player recycle on HB is a very solid choice. Fatigue is a pretty solid addition for both a faen deck and GM. Due to HB's great survival, a spammable skill works amazing since he won't be locked down for many turns. If you can give us more context with regards to your current deck we could give more educated opinions on what might work best for you.

That's the type of deck i always avoid in raids. I'd meld recycle on the horn beast just to bring back the cards with diposal That much sooner. The heal on all might be slightly counterproductive to the strategy, so putting recycle on a harbinger may be a better bet.

Well,Harbinger can't be farmed unlike HB and i only have on copy of it so ......

I think recycle is a great option for Horned beast with the posted deck comp and hero. Another solid choice would be Fatigue 8. A major flaw of recycle on HB is outside of a deck similar to what you posted, a buffed card with bullseye can oneshot him due to low HP. If you aren't running a few hp buffs in your deck, HB is at a disadvantage. If you manage to get any Light Braves, he is a great choice for recycle with higher hp, 10% higher dodge change and rebirth to boot. Don't rush making the recycle meld decision since you only get 2 for the near future.

I think frost armor or fatigue 8 are both great for high survivability decks. Recycle makes sense for a 2nd horned beast meld.

I'm having the same dilemma. Mine will only be for guild maps. Ideas are frostbite, fatigue, and bless. My choice depends on what I put on my swordmasters which are another part of the dilemma.

Bless can go on a frost rager. Fatigue requires a 4*. Frost Ragers w/bless on a guild deck, combo nicely with a beast. Fixes the beasts only problem. I have fatigue on a swordmaster and a beast. Both rock.

The rest of my deck is 2x Oracle with FA7 1x HB with Cloudburst 1 (perhaps I will meld but for now it is staying) 1x HB with 2x SM with 2x Cave Dragon (will become mats pretty soon) Nidhogg Blood Warlock (just lvl 10) I think a third Oracle with FA is in my future. When the Cave Dragons become mats I will have to come up with a worthy replacement. Paladin with FA perhaps? Naga Mistress with Cloudburst or delay 2?

Both rock. to further complicate things some of this depends on where my damage is coming from. For the time being it's coming from a lvl 4 Wight with cripple 9. Frost ragers w/bless are really cheap and easy to meld. Will add 300 hps each to HB and Naga Mistress. Plus with restoration your frost ragers can ignore direct blows Biggest issue your deck has is it has very little ability to handle magic, especially if there is any kind of sealing happening from the enemy. One way to mitigate that is a Naga Mistress or 2. Hope she blocks the magic dealer enough for your deck to maintain itself. Nidhogg helps, but he will only average 1.5 seals a round. Total Mass Heal is 700 Average delay is 2.85 creatures 4 Frost Armor (0 Restoration) 2 50% dodge 160 fatigue + Wight's cripple 2x Bless 10 1x Bless 7 Some thoughts 700 mass heal is good but the vast majority of it can be sealed. (125x2*.7=175 heal immune from delay) Horned Beasts are super squishy at 1058 hps, have to be placed in a spot of physical safety Not enough bless. Any amount of curse/godswill from the enemy will eat your deck 1 Naga Mistress would raise your average delay a lot plus add 150 mass heal All of your bless can be delayed My current Deck: Oracle with Immunity 9 Oracle with Flurry 1 SM w/fatigue 8 3x Frost Rager w/Bless 10 HB w/fatigue 8 Naga Mistress (at lvl 14 thanks to Godswill 1) 2x Sentry Angel w/Mass Heal 6 Total Mass Heal: 875 (only 222.5 heal immune from delay) Average delay (on 10 creatures): 3.65 6 Frost armor (5 with restoration mitigating all physical damage from 1 hit) 5x Bless 10 (1 is 90% immune) 160 Fatigue 1x 50% dodge Working on immunity 9 on my second oracle. Will add another 140 to my heal immunity and another protected bless Working on a second Naga Mistress to replace a Sentry Angel. Then will work on adding frost armor to them. (Yeah this is going to take a llloooonnnng time) Will replace a last Sentry Angel with an Oracle w/ frost armor In the end: Mass Heal: 875 (357 immune) Delay: 7.5 x7 Frost Armor x1 50% Dodge x6 Bless 10 All creature +600hps, SM, NMs & HB +900hps Biggest issue will be retreat. With this deck though I could see adding a BloodLetter or something to help block retreat heavy decks. By the time I'm done with my guild deck I'n guess wight will be lvl 9

Such a versatile and awesome 4☆ creature. So many options and valid melds.
For me, i run mainly mortii. I'd love to put recycle on my lvl 15 HB but I require my thalassa atm. Same goes for Fatigue, another good option but I require them also. I've been using a lockdown/HP buff/healing faen deck for my 3rd defensive team in tournaments. Due to this I think I'm gonna meld delay 2 on it. I think HB will be very annoying with this set up. Dodging, healing, locking down.

I would highly suggest putting Fatigue 8 on Horned Beast instead of Delay 2. HB with Fatigue is one of the best cards in the game in guild maps(huge difference from cave dragon) and you will probably end up replacing the cave dragon soon when your deck gets better.

Yeah I think you're right mate. My love of mortii often blinds me hahaha. It will be hard melding away a CD though because I use them a fair bit but like you said, a HB would make better use of Fatigue. Hmmm. What a card

Just got done dropping 987k on 1-10. Lasted an extra 8+ rounds thanks to 2 creatures. My Beast w/Fatigue 8 and my Oracle with immunity 9. Would have wiped the entire map clean if it wasn't for Poison Ivy's thorn wall.
