Hello there!
I would like to ask suggestions from the Masters here on how I can effectively build a deck on a Predator hero. I'm a newbie at level 29 and got lucky to have gotten this hero. Stormkallar was useful for starters but I get pawned as I move along.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

i've levelled him up through the gauntlet. mine's at level 3. 2 recycle HB's you should definitely have. (i'm farming them myself) i also got lucky and got a hanuman through coupons. plus i'm farming a phoenix too. basically, my idea is to have as many faens in the deck as possible, with rejuvenate on the hero.
i'm absolutely no master, but this helped me. maybe it'll help you.

A predator hornedbeasts team is still very effective. Throw in an immunity naga, phoenix (flame brave if you don't have phoenix) and you got yourself a decent pred deck for your level.

I currently use Predator in my main deck in arena and its Lv7 right now. I started with bowmaster and didnt switch over till I had gotten Predator to Lv5 because thats really when it starts to become good.
Some easy farmable cards I still use are Frost Rager x2 Melded with Soul Swap and Treant Guide Melded with Block 200 but dodge is also a good meld too. Horned beasts for sure, definitely try to meld recycle from thalassa to it. I also run Treant Elder Melded with Assassinate but this takes a long time to farm from bazaar. I use Pegasus Lord melded with Immunity 9, pretty much helps protect my other creatures and has a good self heal to stay alive, especially helpful against decks running Phantom Liege and Spirit Siren.
Talents I use for Predator is Faen Life, Agile, and Rejuvenate. I run a total of 6 faen cards and 4 other faction cards. I think this is a good ratio of mix cards because having to many faen cards will activate Rejuvenate 1st turn before you take any damage.

Personally, I would never meld a precious i9 into pegasus lord, lol. Better FA5 on him and i9 for flame brave or naga mistress. Whatever,
I would recommend you, if you have only 2 recyclers, better have 1 hb and 1 lb, if you have 2 hb, spiky bits will be horrible for you if you get both horned beasts at once, at least light brave can rebirth at least once per battle in most of the times. FA centaur, Ash Beast, Sea Wizzard, Flame Brave, Phoenix, i9 Naga Mistress, FA or I9 Arcane Sage (If not melded, do not bother to put him in your deck, too squishy), FA/i7 Oracles in the case you mix with humans, you could try with FA Techno chief and Mass Heal Swordmasters, idk.
Also, remember that gizzly won't heal other faction creatures, so it's not really recommended to have mixes with predator, don't worry about rejuvenate, even if the first time it's usually wasted, yours faens already heal themselves a lot of hp, having rejuvenate active most of the time makes the ATK boost from Mass Heal useless, your faens already benefits a lot from Agile to survive, there's no need to overheal them and much less if it will lower your ATK for not triggering mass heals.

I run a Predator Lv9 in one of my Tournament decks still. It works best in an Faen-Heavy deck. I built mainly a Magic/Lockdown deck that does well against everything except Spiky Bits.
I have: - 2x Recycle Horned Beast (Only 1x in Tourney)
- I9 Naga Mistress
- I8 Naga Mistress
- Frostbite Pegasus Lord
- FA Treant Elder
- Phoenix
- Flame Brave
- Life Sap Ash Beast
- Hellwolf
Some of those will take some time for you to meld/acquire. For now I would work on: - Put Recycle on Horned Beasts
- Meld Frost Ragers (maybe BB8)
- Meld Treant Guides

Ive gotten like 10+ Pegasus. There very easy to get as you get a bunch as rewards from doing the map dungeons. Its worked really good for me plus I can always meld it onto something else if I ever need the Immunity 9 later. Ive tried Naga Mistress and found her to be very inconsistent compared with Pegasus Lord in keeping the opponent crowd controlled. Also on top of that Naga Mistress dies pretty easily compared to Pegasus because Naga has Mass Heal while Pegasus has Restoration which is good at keeping himself alive, with high restoration rune, it has chance at being double the heal. But yeah, ive seen FA on Pegasus before and that works pretty good too. But if all your cards get crowd controlled from seal, frozen etc. Pegasus wont be able to protect your other cards. As for rejuvenate over healing. From experience, yes having both agile and rejuvenate can be overkill together sometimes but when your opponent is using a ton of magic damage from hero skills and creature skills, this helps counter that, mass heal alone wont save you, especially if your creatures get sealed/frozen. Especially with everyone running around with there free hydras. Also, it is really important to try make sure your cards survive early. That way, they can keep themselves up with there Mass Heal once all your hero talents are used up. If any of them die early, this will make it harder for you to snowball the game. I also wanted to add that it would probably be a good idea 1st starting out to run all faen cards till you get better cards. I find the the 6 faen and 4 other faction to be a good ratio that works for me as my other cards I use are Harbinger melded with recycle, Mythril Drone, Anathema, and Taurus. I used to use Flame Brave before I got Taurus and that works really good too. But now im trying to move towards getting rid of magic damage and changing it to direct damage as my mythril drone always get cloned from Oceanus. Which is good cause I dont want my Taurus to get cloned.

Try to level up your predator to at least level 5 as fast as possible, it will provide better survive-ability with mother nature (from grizzly). As for hero skill, try to get agile. As you were in level 29, deck cost will be an issue for you at this moment, so try to use some 3* creatures with mass heal/elven salve, e.g: frost rager, centaur guide, treant guide, dream healer etc. Also, don't forget to equip your creatures with healer rune. Make at least a recycle horned beast as soon as possible if you haven't do so. With these, you will secure your creatures on deck much longer. Good luck and all the best

You also need 1 heavy hitter in there, a sac card with bullseye would be nice.

My Predator Deck uses:
Sorcery Rune V Lv4 (add 120) Fire Rune, Ice Rune, Lightning Rune....
It is able to do 3-5k dmg to 3 of the cards and 2k+ to all the cards. Plus it usually freezes most of the field (sometimes only paralyzes) so they all get hit the next round too. Add in that I have 1500+ in mass healing and it is a very tanky deck that wipes the field in a round or two.
Outside the top1000 in Tourney, you won't see enough Immunity or Spiky Bits to stop this type of deck. I even love that I take down plenty of Horned Beast b/c I7 is just not that great & HB's have low hp.

Dh is right on magic spam. But magic is better when you can double and triple cast it. Best cards in a magic deck ive found, are magic weavers, flame warden(even better with skill upgrades), flame brave, phoenix to a lesser extent, same coldfire is decent too because in a generous guild, you can meld her early in your gameplay. Theme here is really simple IF you use magic. Its fire fire and more fire, with a side of fire, and washed down with fire, and don't forget to serve fire for dessert. When you take a magic weaver, meld soul swap, and give both runes AT LV 8 MINIMUM, she can take down a lv10 Taurus on her own one on one. If you mod her with skill upgrades, its better, and a good sorcery rune buff, let's her do I upwards of 2500+ damage to single target. I use this example because it is typical of the faen magic casters when you focus on offense. Add support cards, I recommend two tree guides with mass heal upgraded, and two frost rangers, block8/soulswap/bless, up to you. Also, if you have five-seven 3* cards, ice arrow is really good when you can spam it. Five cards all casting ice arrow(40% lockdown), can save you when you need it. NEVER use that with only two or three cards in the deck. Lastly, never stop leveling predator. Best four star hero at lv10 is predator, and maybe dragon rider tied. The grizzly is immune to retreat at level 10. And my predator deck has aura/entrap4/agile. That's been the best combo for me Good luck
