I finally got an oracle melded with immunity 9-- got on very first try ! Awesome card now!!
Am I correct that my other two Oracles can now be melded with immunity 9 on first try when I get spares? Does immunity 9 at 100% put immunity 8 at 100% as well?

Congrats! That's pretty lucky! I'd not count on getting another 2 Oracles melded on the first try, but you can always hope! I do not think that is how it works since Immunity 8 is a different skill than Immunity 9 and therefore has its own expertise bar.

is immunity 9 better for guild or frost armor? Depends on the deck you're running. Immunity definitely has it's uses.

"Frost armor is definitely better" - funny. Only Immunity 9, only hardcore!
The main and most important purpose of Oracle is to deliver Bless 10 to your hero as long as it can. No tanking, no being sealed, no being damaged from magic, not being discorded, no other BS. ONLY. BLESS. 10. EVERY. TURN.
How good is your Oracle with FA on map with 2 phoenixes and 2 flame braves? 5 turns? 6 turns? Also, if your oracle is getting sealed, frozen and discorded all the time - it does not do what it suppose to do - deliver Bless 10 to your hero.
Screw heal - it is nice but not important. Screw damage - there are other tanks and Wight for it. BLESS 10 to your hero every turn - that is the main purpose of Oracle.
Pair it with Wight w cripple and Fatigue 8 creatures, place it right. Profit!

And that's why my first attempt on a guild map I moved up to #2 because I did 600k in damage thanks to my new oracle and a retool of my wight deck: 2 cave dragons, 3 oracles [one with immunity 9], a naga mistress, 2 nilhogs and a pit lord with dodge 8 [don't knock dodge 8 because I watched the opponents tank completely miss my pit lord 4 turns in a row-- he outlived the naga as a result. Now I have to figure out how to make the oracles come up first in my deck. the deck is not perfect and if the cards don't fall right it can get wiped out fast. Magic users wipe out my other two oracles quickly. the immunity 9 keeps the magic at bay though but it can still died if a tank immune to weakness is facing it-- I hate Farfirs [however you spell it]......

FA is better on oracle for guild maps better probably 70% of the time over an immunity 9 oracle. You're basically dead w/o FA if you can't debuff attack fast enough... also assuming you have enough mass healers you can handle 1k damage per card per turn pretty easily.

Everyone can have their own opinion m8. Your deck setup might be better with Oracle with FA. I won't argue.

I only died when I have an immune tank facing the oracle. I was thinking about FA on one of the oracles to mix it up and have some diversity. the cave dragons are getting fa for sure but at the moment I only have one spare copy so it may be a while. I used to have 7 copies but I stupidly crunched them before I knew how great weakness was.....

Immunity card blocker - Swordmaster with Lifesap 7. Retreat card blocker - Nidhogg is good.
