I saw that a popular meld is Queen Temptress with Retreat, and I tried to figure out in what circumstances it may be useful. - In PvP it's a big loss, especially against Disposal decks, as you just trigger that skill again and again - In dungeons after map 12, most opponents have Immunity/Stoneskin which make Retreat useless, plus they can one-shot QT easily due its low health - in Tournaments it's the same problem as in PvP, due stupid AI it mostly hurt you than helps
So, is this card kind of useless, or I am missing something?

Having a retreat QT means the enemy Hero never uses its talent

Retreat is the best meld for QT. Another option for QT is recycle.

Retreating a disposal becomes less of an issue when you have 50% or more resistance (most of your cards have immunity or stoneskin). Its quite hard to break the recycle engine of many opponents so they will generally draw a new card each turn anyway by holding the board you can often just kill or retreat everything as it appears.

Everyone that I have encountered wants their heroes rage skill to go off and never wants their enemises hero rage skill to go off. The retreat / osmose combo is designed for that purpose. If you retreat the enemy creature in front of Queen Temptress and let her physically attack the enemy hero her osmose skill will activate. Osmose steals 32 rage from the enemy hero and gets you that much closer to your hero skill activation and puts the enemy hero that much further away from its rage skill activation. This is very desirable in any match either pvp or ai.

Actually, Osmose is supposed to steal up to 30 rage from the enemy hero (30, or as much rage the enemy hero has left if it's less than 30) and transfer the same amount to your own hero. However, as of a maintenance several months ago, Osmose now steals up to 25 rage and transfers that to your own hero. I've filed a ticket, but despite plenty of evidence for the glitch, IGG's response team insisted that Osmose was working as intended and that no glitch is in effect. Since it's a universal glitch, it's not something that really needs to be fixed, but it's important to spread the knowledge that Queen Temptress now steals up to 25 rage, not 30.

Ok, my bad then but 25 rage is still good. It still makes a difference. You are right if its the same for everyone then no real biggie.

Then see its use That is relative I play for more than 1 year, but being a f2p (more recently star) player, I reach advanced stuff much later. Also being f2p I can't allow myself to try to gather shards or whatever is needed for couple months, just to find out it's kind of useless, so I need to get proper information and plan accordingly. Going back to QT with retreat, I saw it in couple fights being badly deployed and killed in one shot, so at best she manage to steal 25 rage then it's gone. Low hp (1194) and a mere 45% dodge does not provide too much of a survivability. I understand her theoretical value, but how do you make it efficient against top level decks? Give her 5* HP rune? Other ideas?

5* HP rune, protean rune, 5* hero protection, 5* hero runes. That is one thing. Other is her retreat. That protects her also and allows her to retreat her attackers. 1 dodge, retreat and she is safe. Other is, with 5* heroes, triggering your and not triggering enemy hero skill is huge. Also horned beast placed badly won't survive much more then qt.

QT with retreat is a key card/meld for every deck. In later stage you ideally need 2 QT in your deck (if don't have Aquarius). Just look at Tourney Top100 decks. Every deck has at least 1 QT.
For example I use 2xQT in daily deck (Trials, Gauntlets, explore maps and so on) and it's vital for me. I win all 15 gauntlet fight's with one deck in one go, so my two QT do the work - enemy heroe don't shot his skill almost all fights and it's kind of counter to Oceanus, Captivator, Armageddon or Wight.

Of course you're meant to rune her up.

Dodge upgrade cards aren't too rare either. That dodge can be up to 8-9 easily.
