Hey how about this idea all the guild and players that have registered in fortress raid has to skip next fortress raid and let hope none of the top guild get to register and all the weaker guild register leaving out all the top guild I thiink thats is a fair and really good idea. let see how they like watching other giuld battle it out for the citadel. this makes no sense.... I think that was pretty simple and easy to understand unless your on crack.

I don't play Elemental Kingdoms. I'm gonna need more than your word for it. What exactly are the rules for these allegedly balanced Fortress Raid-like events? Also, what's to stop the strongest guilds from banding together by choosing the same faction and then still crushing all weaker guilds? Kingdom War- These occur every week. The war takes place on Friday, Saurinal cakesay, and Sunday from 11 am to noon. Members cannot leave the clan during this period and the clan must he registered to fight (currency for this registration fee is gained by winning and losing arena matches). When it's not taking place a shop will appear. Card currency here is gained by winning and losing matches in KW, with total higher card hp giving more credit. Ai opponents are at a level lower than the player. It's advised that lower players not defend since they run the risk of facing a much higher leveled human opponent. human opponents can also show up if fighting over grey territory. If a player loses 3 times, a 6 minute cooldown timer will appear. Any losses to hero and card hp will carry over, so healing and recycling cards can be extra useful. Every clan who is of the same element is on the same side and base nodes cannot be attacked until a certain time (it's been recently set to the last 10 minutes.) If the base node is captured, the entire element will be deactivated for the round. Points based on node values are given every 5 minutes. The leader can spend arena credit for a boost in hp and att. KW will rarely have double merit event special. The game will automatically switch over to your kw deck when you're here. ^^^Found on a forum^^^ Essentially the factions stayed balanced even though guilds could select their faction because of guild competitiveness. This guild didn't like that guild so they wanted to f*** them over. That guild ll didn't like the another guild so they go amother faction and so on. The kingdom war map wasn't as big as the Fortress raid but honestly that just gives guilds more room to move around. You start at a home base which cannot be taken by another faction until the last 10 minutes of the day (could be changed for fortress raid since the event timing is different). Factiins then try to take over the map. That wouldn't work here as a lot of the highest ranked guilds were or are currently actually merged.

I really like HighVs idea about the different shrines with specific type items in them. That would be pretty cool. Also agree that the atk/defense timer needs tweaking. Should be slightly longer (maybe 30sec?) between battles, and the marching times need decreased so also. One big annoyance that could easily be rectified is the 5min return time after you arrive at a pillar under Protection. Decreased marching time would solve a lot of this I think. Returning should definitely not take 5 mins. Or at the very least make it so that if you march and get blocked by a shield, you return to an adjacent node that your guild owns and that particular march will only take 1 or 2 minutes, not the full 5. If you don't own any adjacent nodes, then it'll take 5 minutes. So annoying to miss taking a node by 2 seconds, have the opponent put a shield up and then get locked out for 5 minutes. And not just from the node but from using your deck(s) altogether.

It's a pretty terrible idea. For one thing, how do you even police this when guilds can guild hop once a week? For another, why would anyone think this is a good idea. Say you get into a Fortress Raid. So did The Guild With No Name, TS, Royal Horsemen and RCB. I.e. 4 of the guilds that dominated this Fortress Raid. Your tiny little F2P guild get wrecked and get almost nothing. Oh hey, you're now locked out of the next FR! The one which The Guild With No Name, Royal Hosemen and TS are barred from. Your tiny little guild would've actually done well in it, but nope. Also, why should someone be locked out due to participation in previous events? Can you name a single competitive event where such rules are used? No, teams/players are relegated due to bad results. So if you register for FR but rank really terribly, then you'd be locked out of the next FR. Again you're looking for ways to punish the strong while helping the weak. This is patently unfair to the strong.

Instead of being locked out. It would be nice if FR would have different random participants in each like what happened to Arena. This way every FR would be unique and f2p won't have that much of a trouble competing. However, it is unfair for top tier guilds because they also deserve more than what a f2p can be given to. So this FR event would still be full of flaws no matter how much we try to think about its balance. Just accept the fact that payers should get more and Yuna is right about the strongest dominating. The best you could do is to become strong. Use it as a motivation.

So this FR event would still be full of flaws no matter how much we try to think about its balance. Just accept the fact that payers should get more and Yuna is right about the strongest dominating. The best you could do is to become strong. Use it as a motivation. While this still has the potential to create unfair "FR Arenas" where one is super easy while another is super stacked, having different FR "Arenas" is still one of the sanest, most viable and most balanced suggestion put forth insofar. It will allow more guilds to join. But, as you said, the strongest will always dominate. That tournament I was banned from for being too good? My friend and "protogé" (I was basically showing him the ropes of competitive SSB) won it. And while I was clearly superior to him, he still wrecked the competition and didn't drop a single game. Let's say for whatever reason, The Guild With No name, TS, RCB and Royal Horsemen aren't in a particular Fortress Raid (either having been banned for 1 round, or there being multiple "arenas"). So? There's just gonna be another strongest guild there that dominates. If your guild is 100% F2P, you will likely never be able to compete for the center no matter how many guilds are removed from the roster unless we go all the way down to your level. So, change it so that Fortress Ranking Points are only awarded for successful defense, not successful attack, removing the incentive for stronger guilds to bully smaller guilds for ranking points and maybe institute multiple "arenas". Those are the two solutions I find the most fair and balanced.

Deck Heroes is only a game and like every game we all (nearly) intend to have fun while playing it. If the game is not balanced, there is no fun for anyone.
So like in your favorite sport there are leagues by level to allow a balanced competitiveness, interest and fun for both players and supporters. Let's do the same for events like FR. The question is not that FTP can (or must) be competitive against whales, they will never. Make 3 leagues, one for the big boys (and girls) with big rewards, one for average with average rewards and one for weak with small rewards.
And everybody will enjoy much this game, now balanced and have fun! IGG should think of it, from a marketing and business point of view. It is better to have most of your players enjoying the game than very few happy few that having no fun (except winning all the time but without any competition) but big rewards and most of the crowd frustrated to be smashed all the time with no reward. The key of this business model is development of customer loyalty. It is much more valuable to have 2000 players spending a 5 bucks star every month than 1 player spending 10 000 bucks a month.
Today the game for the non whales/ non big spenders relies only on one thing : Alice's bond as it is the only affordable hope for most to catch a game changer. The day Alice's bond disappear, the game also will unless IGG gives back fun to most players.

Like the different Whatchamacallits in Sky Arena. You can choose a lower league, but the rewards will be much, much lower. 3 different Fortress Raid Arenas, I, II and III. I has the weakest rewards, while III has the strongest. And by that I mean dramatically weaker rewards in I and II, as in maybe 1 spark every 4 hours for I's Citadel or something. If you're accepted into any of the Arenas, you're precluded from applying to any of the others. That way, people who fail to register for their chosen arena because every single one of its slots were filled before they could apply can try to apply to any of the other arenas, too.

Could be a solution - or very likely - the way u dominated last fr, the former rank 2-3 guilds would go in the lower rank to totally dominate there.. still better to easily achieve lower rewards than almost no rewards at all

This seems to be the most sensible solution for everyone. FR was interesting at first, but butting heads versus folks like you repeatedly kinda killed my interest in this game...while beating guilds struggling to hold just one outer pillar made me feel awful, with neither side being at fault for a crap system. Maybe everyday during the event guilds get to choose what tier of arena they want to be in, instead of having the equivalent of a middle school basketball team in the same arena as the Lakers the whole time.

Does it matter?.. if u put a lower league... only the top 2 guild will compete for the main... the 3rd strongest onwards will go for lower league... they will overrun the lower league which is same result as now with one dominating guild.. those not so strong will be left to have crumps... unless u put 70 such maps theb each have own cozy citadel... competition is good but just make it transparent for the replays... for all we know we could have a 100k hp critter here... that nobody know..or some strange bugs which is spoiling the fun.

I've caught up on my sleep and would like to share my experience. Overall I enjoyed FR. I achieved my goal of farming enough FR credits to buy Omni skill upgrade. The most exciting moment during the times when I was watching the map,... was when In a Destiny battled and took over the Citadel. It would have been more exciting if the Citadel changed hands several times with 3 to 4 guilds actually fighting for it. I'd also like to express my gratitude to Two Cougars for allowing my Guild to farm peacefully in a few sectors close to the Citadel. Like many others, I am also frustrated with the bugs and hope IGG can fix these so we can have a better game experience in the future.

If individual player is ranked, then you get creature shard, Sparks,... plus something else I cannot remember. Anyway, for F2P players like me, we can only hope to farm Fortress credits. And Fortress credits can be used to buy stuff at the Guild Mall. In the FR map, at the perimeter... the sectors earn 5 FR credits if you can hold them for 10 minutes. Then moving inwards, the sectors earn 10 FR credits, 15 FR credits, 20 FR credits, 25 FR credits, ....until you reach the Citadel earns 60 FR credits. I believe Citadel and Shrines need hold 1 hour before you get the Bounty. I have never received a Bounty. I think the Bounties are 4-star and 5-star Omni shards for creatures and heroes. Shrines and Citadel also give out Sparks. For me, FR provide a different kind of experience that cannot be found in Faction War, Guild War, Sky Arena, Grandmaster Cup. In FR, there is a lot of interaction, strategy, tactics, diplomacy, teamwork.

japoonbarleylime All possible rewards were 4star creature shards 4star hero shards 5star creature shards 5star hero shards Glory Sparks Eq mats Fr credits 4 or 5 star shards, sparks, and mats from shrines and citadel. Fr credits from timers on nodes Specific 5star hero shards, glory, and sparks for individial points ranking. Specific 5star creature shards, glory, and sparks for guild points ranking. Points could be earned by winning fights. This could be acheived in tandem with defending nodes but proved to come easiest simply by attacking other nodes over and over without staying on any particular node more than a couple seconds.

There's no way to make FR "fair" to everyone, down to the lowliest lvl 30 player with only 4-star heroes and 4-star creatures + their guaranteed 5-star Bloodletter unless we make deck strength entirely irrelevant. And that would be terrible design for a PvP event.

I would like to know what is the rewards you got from this event. So that I can consider whether to join next time You should try it. The game concept is fun actually. I enjoy the process of meeting different players, discussing strategy etc. The race to the citadel was very exciting in the beginning! Every guild has the same (almost the same) opportunity to reach it, depends on your guild communication, coordination and strategy.

Oh no man, Citadel gives rewards every 10 minutes ... That is an absurd amount of stuff I believe it's 1 hour, not 10 minutes. Citadel: One hour for the bounty. 10 minutes for the 60 fortress credits. =D

Yeah. Bounty is given out in 1 hour intervalls. The timers reset each time a territory switches ownership, so you get your 1st bounty precisely 1 hour after you took it. Every 10 minutes (not synched with the Bounty timer. It's something like 3 minutes, 30 seconds off), you Credits (all territories that hand out credits have a 10 minute timer).

Could be a solution - or very likely - the way u dominated last fr, the former rank 2-3 guilds would go in the lower rank to totally dominate there.. still better to easily achieve lower rewards than almost no rewards at all Unless we make deck strength entirely meaningless, this is what will happen for as long as there's an event like FR, the strongest will dominate the weakest. There's no way to make FR "fair" to everyone, down to the lowliest lvl 30 player with only 4-star heroes and 4-star creatures + their guaranteed 5-star Bloodletter unless we make deck strength entirely irrelevant. And that would be terrible design for a PvP event. U can t and u shouldn t make deckstrength equal ofc.. but as i proposed earlier u could limit the amount of shrines a guild can hold.. u still would have the best one as it should be.. but others could get a shot too., as it should be.. u d have different tiers of guilds fighting for something

Anyone from two cougars that can tell me how the card-rewards were in the citadal? Were the 5-stars rare, and did they drop frequently?
